Almost all banks give loans to BIT Mesra. Plus all students get a fair chance to avail scholarships. However there is reservation in scholarships again.

There is not any specific entrance exam, it is purely based on the percentage scored on 12th boards. Cutoff varies every year but minimum requirements are 75% from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths.
