Shikhar Srivastava's Review on Lovely Professional University- LPU Jalandhar

Usually companies like Google,Apple , Infosys , Cognizent, Think and Learn and many visit LPU campus. Around 200 MNC visit over here. and salary packages varies from 4 lakh to 20 Lakh per annum which depends on your talent only . Almost all whose CGPA is more than 7 gets placed usually . Though you need to work hard because Faculties just depends on your luck. Some are really intelligent and knowledgeable while others are moderate and some of them are below average in teaching . Overall LPU is one of the best private institution in India.

There are 8 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel in LPU campus which charges almost 46,000 per year. The quality of food is ok. Quality of classroom and labs is really good and enjoyable and interactive. The wifi speed is also less.

To get admission for B.Tech-MBA integrated, you must have 60% minimum at 10+2 level. In order to get admission in LPU for this course, you need to appear for LPUNEST. Based on your rank your scholarship will be decided. 

Usually class timing is of 9am to 5 pm but on some days classes are of only 3-4 hours also. Our time flies very fast in LPU as we are always busy with some kind of projects or exams. The curriculum of LPU is quite smooth. More emphasis is given on practical approach which is very helpful to understand concepts well. Although it's depends on our luck also that what kind of teacher we get. Some are very intelligent and knowledgable while some are moderate or below average in teaching. Overall it is an amazing college. Our campus life is really exciting as something else or the other keeps on happening over here.

I got a scholarship of top 10% criteria that is 1 lakh per annum. Students can get scholarship on the basis of LPUNEST, score in 10+2, sports quota or Army quota. Almost all students who appear for test get some scholarship because the test is very easy.

There are lot of clubs in LPU like club 20, jhankaar etc. Overall college Life is enjoyable
