Placements and Internships

I have not done any internship. Placement is there and company comes like Amazon, Microsoft, and Directi. The average package is around INR 7 lakh per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

11 Hostel facility is available for the male and 2 for female. Mess fee is around INR 20,000 per semester. Quality of classroom and lab is good.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

To get admission in BE courses of BIT MESRA has to qualify JEE MAIN with a decent rank. There is 50% reservation for home state quota.

Academics and Faculty

Daily routine for 1st year is 8 - 12:10 and 2:40-5:10 pm. Quality of teaching is very good. Till now the experience in college has been amazing.

Daily timing of the college is 8:00 am to 12:10 pm. Quality of education is good. Overall experience in the college is good.

Fees and Scholarships

My course fee is INR 2.5 lakh per annum. The scholarship is only available for financially weak students. Students can also apply for the loan.

Clubs and Associations

There are 21 clubs and association available on the campus. The main events in the college is Bitstav and Pantheon.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : BIT Mesra has 2 rounds of admission - The first one is through JOSAA where you get a particular branch according to the availability of seats and your preference. Once this step is completed, there is an option for internal sliding where you can change your branch if you wish so but this depends on the remaining vacant seats and your JEE Mains Rank. The second round is the SPOT round which is conducted by the college for the remaining seats. You can apply through the website and it takes place after 20-25 days of the end of the first round.
