Sai Trinath Saka's Review on Lovely Professional University- LPU Jalandhar

Many companies come for placements. LPU Alumni is a very big network. They are all around the world.

LPU has 8 hostels. Outside LPU there are many PG's. I heard PG's rent is INR 20,000 per annum. But LPU hostel is the more safest. It has many CCTV for security around the LPU.

Hostel food is average in taste. But we have many stalls around the hostels where we can find all types of food. LPU's infrastructure is largest one in the India with the best quality of labs & libraries.

Candidate must clear the LPUNEST exam and must have passed the 12th from a recognized institute to get admission in this college. Minimum 60% cutoff mark is required.

Classes are from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It changes for every sem. There will be nearly 4 assignments and one Midterm (mostly of MCQ) and one End Term (50% MCQ and 50% subjective mostly) for every sem. One of the assignments will be project or case study depends upon the subject.

The most faculty is more than average in teaching. But you will be provided 24hrs wifi, you get internet wherever you are in university. There will be a UMS (University Management System) which will have all the attendance, marks, notifications, class timetable, exams centre classes, all to all which you need in the university.

My course fee is INR 49,500 per annum. The scholarship amount changes every year for new students.

There are many student clubs in LPU where they conduct many activities. LPU has a division (a separate building) of DSA (Department of Student Affairs) where University encourages in Co-curricular activities.
