Placements and Internships
In case of B.SC Agriculture placement is less compared to B.Tech. But 3-5 companies came forward offering placements and the package was pretty good.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 7 boys hostels And 6 Girls hostels. The hostel fee when I was studying was INR 45000 per annum exclusive of food. There are many PGs outside the campus but they there are many security issue concern.There are different types of foods in college like south Indian; north Indian and huge no. Of food courts. The average cost of meal ranges from INR 40-INR 50. Quality of class rooms is pretty good and best infrastructure and labs are well equipped, dining halls are clean and other infrastructure will be awesome.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Actually when I joined the in 2013 admission was on the basis of qualifying examination. I got 83% so I got a scholarship. So the scholarship is based on your percentage in qualifing exam. Now it has been changed and admission is through LPUNEST and you will get a scholarship based on marks scored in LPUNEST combined with the percentage in the Qualifying examination.
Academics and Faculty
Class timings are flexible and the examination pattern is quite different from others because of each and every component like class assignment; Mid term; End term Contribute to your final score. Quality of teaching is totally PowerPoint based and method of teaching varies from teacher to teacher. It was a Wonderful experience throughout the journey.
Fees and Scholarships
As I have got 83% in plus two my actual course fee is around INR 50000 per semester but on basis of my percentage, I used to pay INR 21,000 per semester. Students who got 70 % and above are eligible for availing scholarship. If there is need of loan they can be easily availed because a couple of my friends have pursued their degree by availIng loan through different banks.
Clubs and Associations
I am less aware of students society but I think there are less society. There are various fests and main events are One India, one world, Youthvibe etc and many celebrities visit campus . In general depends upon how we adapt and use the technology available around us . But life in general is good.
