- LPU offers many companies for Internship and Placement. Top companies are ICICI, RBS, Jet Airways, Colgate, HDFC and much more with good package. Ritz Carlton Hotel USA, Qatar Airways Doha, Al Rakha Group Dubai, Practo Technologies, Josh Technologies, LG Soft and more are available as well
- I choose to take offline Internship with CartHero Technology Pvt Ltd. being that my Uncle was the manager there. I got no stipend but a good exposure.
- There are placements in all sectors including Management, IT, Engineering, Banking, Agriculture, Consultancy, Architecture, Pharmaceuticals and more.
- Top salary offering companies remained Practo Technologies (Rs 7 Lakh), Josh Technologies (Rs 6 Lakh), LG Soft (Rs 5.5 Lakh) and more. In addition, international placements by Ritz Carlton Hotel USA, Qatar Airways Doha & Al Rakha Group Dubai at allowance up to Rs 22 Lakh.
- Alumni network is very good. Here is a full fledged dedicated team that unifies the Alumni all across the world. LPU Alumni is working today in companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Google.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
- Currently, there are 7 boys Hostels and 6 Girls Hostels with Apartment complexes.
- Hostel Fees varies according to the preferences; College provides multiple options like 4 seater cooler or 3 seaters cooler or 2 seaters cooler or single seater cooler again same with AC rooms and we have Dormitory and Apartments.
- PGs outside is easily available in cheapest with best quality service.
- We have Mess that is cheap and best, but we also have 100+ kiosks in the campus that offer a variety of foods.
- The classroom is well equipped with speakers, Mic AC, and other facilities.
- We have Central Library and each college library as well.
- We have Labs with updated technology and the whole campus is wi-fi enabled.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
- Taking admissions at the Lovely Professional University is not a big task for the UG courses unless you have a min. of 50% marks in SSC Results from a recognised institution/ board.
- After that for further screening, LPU-NEST is the exam one needs to qualify for Scholarship cum Admission.
- I need not take any exams since my marks were 84%.
- For my Course, cut off is 50% and then LPU-NEST that needs to be taken if and only you have less than 70% but more than 50%.
Academics and Faculty
- Classes here is from 8 am to 6 pm depending upon the course and subject.
- LPU has got very knowledgeable, expressible and dedicated faculty, a small majority of Doctorate faculties that gives excellent teaching to students.
- Pedagogy system is followed in LPU with all Audio Video classes and practical Labs.
- LPU is a world in itself.
- Here we study, we learn, we grow and we never want to go back.
- We have great exposure and most wonderful time on the campus.
Fees and Scholarships
- Course Fee applicable to me was 25,500 INR per semester.
- Students can avail scholarships through LPU-NEST or if they have the distinction in their academics, sports or any other excellent performance, they get a direct rebate in Fees.
- Nearly 90% Students are on Scholarship in LPU.
- Loans are barely needed because the course fees compare to other university is very less. Although if in case one requires, they can easily avail through the banks.
Clubs and Associations
- Division of Student Affairs is the special division that dedicatedly works for students development. It has various departments and students organization that adds to all round development.
- YouthVibe is a 5-day annual fest of LPU.
- Campus Life is an amusing daily experience.
- Although there is huge pressure; it's a fun learning experience.
