MAH MCA CET 2019 Eligibility Overview

Age
Between 21 - 25 years.
Qualification
Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate; passed class 12th with mathematics as mandatory. Direct second year admissions: passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications, Information Technology or Computer Science.
Reservation
Pursuing or completed Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 45% aggregate.

MAH MCA CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for the First-Year Admission

  • Candidates must be a citizen of India.

  • Aspirants should have passed 10+2 or graduation level with Mathematics as one of their main subjects.

  • Candidates must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before they head towards the MAH MCA CET 2019 Application Process.

  • Candidates must have passed a bachelor degree (3 years) in any disciplines from any recognized university and should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate.

  • In case candidates belong to the backward category and PwD category to Maharashtra State only they must secure at least 45% aggregate.

  • If any aspirant is in the final year of qualifying examination then also they are eligible to apply for MAH MCA CET 2019 examination.


Eligibility for Lateral Entry Admission

  • The eligibility criteria are same as the first-year admission except candidate must have passed a bachelor degree in computer application (BCA) or B.Sc. in (CS, IT) from any recognized university.

  • Candidates should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate bachelor degree in computer application (BCA) or B.Sc. in (CS, IT) from any recognized university and in case they belong to the backward category and PwD category to Maharashtra State only then they should have secured a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.

MAH MCA CET 2019 Eligibility Highlights

Nationality

The candidates must be a citizen of Indian.

Qualification

Candidates should have passed a minimum duration of three years bachelor’s degree awarded by university recognized by university grants commission or association of Indian universities in any discipline.

Subjects

The candidates must have passed 12th exams with Mathematics as one of the compulsory subjects.

Aggregate

At least 50% aggregate in 10+2 or equivalent for general category candidates and at least 45% aggregate in case the candidates belongs to backward class categories or persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra state only.

Lateral Entry

Candidate should have passed a bachelor's degree in Computer applications or science (Information technology or computer science).


 Required Caste Certificate

If aspirants come under the given category then they must produce the caste certificate from the competent authority as mentioned below :

  • If candidates belonging to SC, VJ/DT (NT (A)), NT (B), NT(C), NT (D), OBC and SBC categories they should submit “Caste Validity Certificate” issued by scrutiny committee of social welfare department.

  • If candidates belonging to ST category then they should produce  “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by scrutiny committee of tribal department.


Disabilities come under the PwD category

  • Visually Impaired: The visually impaired candidates are those candidates whose writing speed is adversely affected permanently for some reason can use their own scribe at their cost during the online examination.

  • Locomotors Disability: The candidates whose dominant (writing) extremity is affected to the extent of slowing the performance of the function(minimum of 40% impairment).

Sorry but you are not eligible to apply for the Maharashtra MCA CET. The eligibility criteria for the exam demands the candidates must have completed their graduation with Mathematics being a major subject.
