Steps to Fill MAH MCA CET 2025 Application Form

Students must visit the MAH MCA CET 2025 official website for application form submission. Aspirants must fill out the forms carefully as there is no provision for any modification after the final submission of the MAH MCA CET application form. The detailed steps for the same are shared below:

Step 1: Visit the official web portal

Candidates are required to visit the Official website of DTE Maharashtra @cetcell.mahacet.org and click on the option "Apply Online," which will open a new screen.

Step 2: New Registration

To register, the candidate will have to enter the name, email id, and contact details. A provisional registration number and Password will be auto-generated to the email id provided by the candidate.

Step 3: Filling in Details

To complete the application process, the candidate must enter details such as Basic details, personal details, Domicile details, contact details, qualification details, etc.

Step 4: Upload Images

The candidates can upload a recent coloured photograph of the size 20-50 KB range and upload a signature image of size between 10-20 KB.

Step 5: Preview of details

Once after filling MAH MCA CET 2025 application, a preview page will be displayed the candidates can check the details and submit the application.

Step 6: Modifying details

In case any modification has to be done, the candidates can modify it when the Preview page is displayed.

Step 7: Payment details

The candidate should then pay MAH MCA CET 2025 Application Form Fees via Net Banking/Debit/Credit Card.

Step 8: E-Receipt

After the successful payment, do not go back or refresh the page and wait until the E-Receipt is generated. If in case the E-Receipt is not generated, then it means a failure of the payment process, the candidate can log in and then continue the payment process again.

Step 9: Print

The candidates must take a print of both the application form and the E-Receipt containing fee details for further use.

MAH MCA CET 2025 Details of Photograph and Signature

Before applying online, a candidate will be required to have a scanned (digital) image of their picture and signature as per the specifications below. Aspirants are required to upload the documents in the specified format otherwise, the application will be rejected.

Photograph Image

  • Size and Color: The size of the file should be between 20 KB – 50 KB. During scanning, if the file size is more than 50 KB, then setting of the scanner like DPI resolution, no. of colours, etc. adjust
  • The Photograph must be a recent passport-style colour photo. Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white.
  • The photo features: Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face. If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows. If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye".
  • Instructions to be followed: Ensure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be seen if you wear glasses.
  • Caps, hats, and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed, but it must not cover your face.
  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred).

Signature Image

  • Instructions to be followed by the candidate: The applicant must sign on white paper with a black ink pen. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by anyone else. The signature will be used to put on the hall ticket and wherever necessary.
  • Signature should be scanned: If the applicant’s signature on the answer script, at the time of the examination, does not match the signature on the hall ticket, the applicant will be banned from the exam hall. Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels (preferred). The size of the file should be between 10KB – 20 KB. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 20KB. Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS will NOT be accepted.

Scanning the Photograph & Signature

  • Scan Resolution: Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 DPI (dots per inch).
  • Crop the image: Set the colour preference to True Colour. Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above). The image file should be JPG or JPEG. Example file: image01.jpg or image01.jpeg.
  • Image Dimension: Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon.
  • Image Format: Candidates using MS Windows/MS Office can easily obtain photos and signatures in .jpeg format not exceeding 50 KB & 20 KB respectively by using MS Paint or MS Office Picture Manager.
  • Scanned photograph and sign: Scanned photograph and signature in any format can be saved in .jpg format by using the ‘Save As’ option in the File menu.

NOTE: Size can be reduced below 50 KB (photograph) & 20 KB (signature) by using the crop and then resize option (Please see points (i) & (ii) above for the pixel size) in the ‘Image’ menu. Similar options are available in other photo editors as well.
