CG Pre MCA 2023 Eligibility
To be eligible for CG Pre MCA 2023 test, the candidates are required to meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Domicile: The candidate should possess the domicile of Chhattisgarh to satisfy the eligibility criteria for CG Pre MCA 2023.
- Qualification: As per the CG Pre-MCA 2023 eligibility criteria, the candidates must have a 3-years bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate marks from any recognized board or university.
- Subject: Candidates should have studied Mathematics as a major subject in class 12th.
- Age: CG Pre MCA maximum age limit for the candidates is 32 years as of July 1st 2023. There is a relaxation of 3-years for SC/ST candidates.
CG Pre MCA 2023 Reservation
As per the Government of India rules, candidates belonging to certain categories are admitted to seats reserved for them based on the relaxation criteria. The reservation of seats in exam counselling was introduced to give an equal opportunity to candidates belonging to weaker sections of society.
One such reservation system is the institutional reservation, where the seats are divided based on the quota for particular institutions. The reservation criteria followed by private and Government institutions are mentioned in the tabular below.

Apart from the Institutional Reservation mentioned above, there is a provision for separate Reservations, prevalent in the Private and Government Colleges under CG Vyapam. The categories under which the reservations are provided are:
Caste-Based Reservation (Vertical Reservation)
The seats for the MCA Course under CG Pre MCA Exam are reserved for the SC, ST and OBC candidates. The candidates belonging to any category are entitled to occupy a seat under this category. But, it should be understood that the unreserved category quota will apply to that candidate. This quota is available both in the Private and Government colleges. The vertical reservation for Pre MCA which is given in any institutes is tabulated below.

Reservations for Physically Handicapped (Horizontal Reservation)
The Physically Handicapped person has been provided with a 3% reservation in the Government Colleges only. The private colleges don't provide this reservation. Furthermore, there is no provision of reservations for candidates belonging to the Army or Freedom fighter quota.

Reservation for J&K Migrants
One seat (1%) in each Government and Private college is reserved for the J&K migrant candidates. The candidate need not be a resident of Chhattisgarh for this quota.
Reservation for Girls
There is a reservation of 30% in each category (SC, ST and OBC) provided for the girl candidates. This is also a horizontal reservation, but it is only provided in the Government colleges.
