Marri Laxman Reddy Institute of Technology, Hyderabad was established in the year 2005. In the 14 years of existence, MLRIT has established itself as a premier Institution. It has become synonymous with academic excellence, a benchmark to measure co-curricular excellence and also a center which creates responsible citizens.

MLRIT courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA which are conducted in various multiple specializations. Courses are conducted by college best teachers and are mark to be understandable to each student in their respective ways.

The college is being run by KMR educational society under the able chairmanship of Sri M Laxman Reddy. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad and Accredited by NBA with A Grade. Institute is also ranked under NIRF, the government of India. College is running under Marri Laxman Reddy Group of Institue. College is under UGC autonomous.

MLRIT Facilities:

College has a very big and well-maintained auditorium infrastructure and it can accommodate approx 1000 people to sit with the latest audio and video systems with appropriate LEDs to host national and international conferences and other college events. MLRIT campus provides HDFC ATM inside the campus for students as well as staff.

College has a huge campus with 25 acres of land, with built-up at 5.5 lakh sq.ft. College provides RCC buildings with more number of classrooms, seminar halls, meeting rooms, tutorial rooms and different hostels for boys and girls. College is having a big library which provide students their academic books and details, beyond this college library also consists of number of computers and additional books that will help students to gain information not only for academic but also for their real life.

College has a better quality of well-maintained canteen, which provides students healthy and proper food. College hostel is neat and clean with multiple numbers of rooms. College campus is structured by free wifi which every student has to register online through college official website. College has emergency medical facilities for its students, which will create a better look towards the health of students. College also provides Transportation facilities for every interested student. Transportation facilities are maintained by transportation in charge, which provides transportation in every place of the city as well as a nearby city.

In present MLRIT library has a carpet area of 1275 Sq.Mt. The reading space is 400 Sq.Mt which can seat over 500 students. The institute has a duplex library which is spacious and voluminous enough to accommodate more than 4700 titles, 34271 volumes. More than 114 National and 72 International Journals. Digital library is equipped with 30 Systems connected to dedicate Internet Server. College is also providing login for students which will help student to learn from online library from anywhere.

Digital Library is well stocked with National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning material covering most of the important subjects and to access E-journals, E-books, E-learning. The library has DELNET [Interlibrary loan] for resource sharing and it is fully computerized with a barcoding system. College provides its best way to help student in every need of aspect which will help them to grow in their future 

College provides sports facilities in Cricket, Basketball, Football, Tennis, Badminton, Athletics, Chess, Snooker and many more such games are organized by the institute to motivate students in curricular activities also. As institute believes their growth is on both academic as well as sports field. 

MLRIT Courses:

For B.Tech:

Institute 70% of the seats are allotted based on merit in the Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Test conducted by Government of Telengana/Andhra Pradesh. Rest 30% of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates. If the candidate is a Diploma holder, then he/she can directly take admission in 2nd year to the extent of 20% of intake based on the merit in the Engineering Common Entrance Test, under lateral entry scheme conducted by Government of Telengana/Andhra Pradesh.

For M.Tech:

70% of the seats are reserved for merit-based admission that is through GATE score or based on the rank obtained in the test conducted by JNTU. Rest 30% of the seats are reserved for management or NRI candidate.

For MBA:

The minimum level of qualification for admission to the first year of the MBA is a pass in the undergraduate course. 70 % of the seats are allotted based on the merit in the Integrated Common Entrance Test conducted by Government of Telengana/Andhra Pradesh. 30 % of the seats are reserved for Management or NRI candidates.

MLR Institute of Technology Scholarships:

Candidate should have scored a high level in sports field that is he/she should have played state/national/international level in any respective field. Candidate should have score highest marks in tests conducted for admission procedure, as this is also a criteria for scholarships. Candidate has to maintain proper that position for longer period of scholarship term.

MLRIT Placements:

College provides multiple companies for their students for campus placement. College provides placement to approx every candidate. For placement factor, College provides Group Decisions, regular practice for placement training and regular interview practices are conducted by teachers of college to develop their student's placement track.

College gives a practice of regular activities to their students to gain more knowledge based on placement, which will not only help students know but also help them in their future. College conduct practice session for their students at regular interval of time.
