Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University is a public university founded in 1972 in Hyderabad, Telangana. In 2008, it was divided into three separate institutes: JNTU Hyderabad, JNTU Kakinada, and JNTU Anantapur. Located in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, JNTUA has been ranked in the 151-200 Band in Engineering by NIRF 2025. JNTU Anantapur is recognised by UGC and accredited by NBA and NAAC with an 'A' grade.
