Vellore Institute of Technology is a private and one of the finest universities in India. Dr. G. Vishwanathan, a former Parliamentarian, and Minister of Tamil Nadu, established this institute in 1984.

VIT Vellore

Admission Process For VIT Colleges
The students can check out the admission process 2023 for VIT colleges so they can get into one of the top Engineering colleges in India. The following pointers give a detailed description of the admission process for VIT colleges.
- The students must score the board cutoff marks stipulated by the VIT colleges based on the chosen courses.
- The students must appear and pass either the JEE Main entrance exam or the VITEEE entrance exam to apply for any Engineering courses on VIT campuses.
- The students will be attending the counseling session after the board results and the entrance exam results are announced.
- The application form for VIT campuses started on Nov 1, 2023, and closed on Apr 10, 2024.
- VITEEE 2024 was conducted from Apr 19 to Apr 30, 2024.
- VITMEE 2024 results for M.Tech and MCA will be declared on May 15, 2024.
- The application process for VIT is online mode only. Therefore, the students have to submit all the necessary documents, such as scorecards, mark sheets, community certificates, etc, while applying for their desired courses.
- The VITMEE counselling process 2024 will be conducted from May 15 to May 17, 2024, when the students have to be prepared with all the required details to get into any of the VIT campuses based on their scores.
