GAT-B Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme
The question paper for the GAT-B entrance exam two sections. The first section marked as ‘Section A’ in the question paper includes 60 multiple-choice questions which needs to be answered by all students mandatorily. The questions are based on the level of 10+2 science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics.
Candidates must note that in addition to scoring a mark each for every correct answer, there is also a negative mark for every wrong answer. The official website has made it clear that they will deduct half a mark (½ or 0.5) for every wrong answer.
The second section marked as ‘Section B’ in the question paper features MCQs of Bachelor’s level.
