About Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar

The University is located in Hisar, Punjab and provides students with courses in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Pharmacy and Management. The University has a sprawling campus and is accredited by the UGC and NAAC. The University has many industrial and academic collaborations and provides various scholarship schemes to students.THe University also gives importance to sports activities and has provisions to play basketball,football, handball and cricket. The University also has a separate SC/ST Cell for students who belong to the reserved category.

Eligibility Criteria at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar

Postgraduate Courses:

  • The candidate must successfully complete his/her undergraduate degree
  • The postgraduate degree the candidate wants to major in must be a subject he/she has pursue his/her undergraduation in
  • The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% in aggregate

Undergraduate Courses:

  • The candidate must successfully pass his/her higher secondary examination

Class timings, projects, exams, and assignments are on time according to the need of the hour. The teaching process is not too bad neither is very good. Overall experience in college is always good. Making new friends, class bunks, roaming freely in the university, lectures ( boring a number of times).

There are a number of student societies and clubs now in the university. University organizes a youth festival every year where students from different colleges participated in various cultural programmes. There is a tech programme organized every year where students team up to provide innovative ideas and selected ideas are funded to provide with a prototype for the industry. In general, a student lives his/ her life at par filled with zest and energy in the university.

  • 2 major exams and four minor exams conducted per year along with practical exams at Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology.
  • One major project in last semester guided by teachers of physiotherapy department has to be done.
  • The method of teaching is of excellent quality.
  • The overall experience in college is excellent.
