GUJCET Dress Code Guidelines

Authorities have briefly mentioned how students must appear for the GUJCET exam 2024 on Mar 31, 2024. in the official notification. Besides following the general exam guidelines, students must stick to the GUJCET dress code regulations as instructed by the GSEB exam authorities.

  • Any Jewellery or Ornament is Prohibited - All candidates appearing for the exam must take note of this instruction concerning the wearing of jewellery or any ornaments. Exam authorities will not permit entry to students who appear for the exam wearing jewellery items such as brooches, lockets, earrings, bracelets or trinkets. 
  • Long-sleeved Top-wear Not Allowed - Examinees must attend the GUJCET exam wearing half-sleeve topwear such as half shirts, tops, and t-shirts. Any candidate wearing a full sleeve will not be allowed to enter the exam centre. 
  • Light-coloured Clothes Only - Students must also take note of this important GUJCET exam dress code of wearing light-coloured clothes. Students must strictly avoid wearing dark-coloured or themed clothes. Subtle and light colour clothes are permitted in the GUJCET exam centre.
  • Shoes Not Permitted - Candidates must avoid wearing closed shoes at any cost. Only sandals and slippers are allowed in the exam hall. Moreover, female candidates can wear low-heeled sandals, although closed shoes or ballerina slippers are prohibited.
  • Masks are Mandatory - Lastly, all examinees must note that the most important GUJCET dress code is always wearing face masks. If necessary, students may carry extra face masks. With the rise in covid-19 cases, they must follow these GUJCET dress code protocols.

GUJCET Exam Day Guidelines

Besides the GUJCET dress code regulations, students must follow the exam day guidelines when reporting for the GUJCET 2024 exam on Apr 3, 2023. In case of doubts, they can connect with the exam authorities through the helpline number on the official website. Also, authorities will provide all exam-related information and rules and regulations on the GUJCET admit card.

  • All examinees must report to the exam centre two hours before the exam to undergo all pre-exam procedures.
  • Authorities will not allow students to enter the centre with extra papers, chits, notes etc.
  • Also, electronic devices and gadgets are strictly prohibited in the GUJCET exam centre.
  • The GUJCET admit card is a mandatory document; without it, candidates will not be permitted inside the exam hall.
  • Additionally, candidates must carry a valid government-issued photo ID to the exam hall.
  • Authorities will allow candidates to exit the premises/exam hall after completing the GUJCET exam.
  • Edibles are not allowed inside the exam hall. Hence students must not carry food items, water bottles, snacks or canned drinks.
  • Cigarettes/Illegal drugs are not allowed in the GUJCET exam hall. Any found in possession of such items will be debarred for appearing in the exam.
  • Candidates must strictly abide by the GUJCET dress code.

  • GUJCET Admit Card 2024.
  • Passport-size photograph (Same as submitted in the GUJCET application form).
  • PwD certificate (if applicable).
  • Valid government-issued photo identification proof.
