- To gain admission to the BA Economics program, you need to have completed your 10+2 HSC examination in subjects such as Economics, Accountancy, Commerce/Business Studies, or any other related field. For other academic disciplines, you must have passed your class XII examination or an equivalent exam.
- Additionally, to be eligible for admission to postgraduate programs, you should have achieved at least 50% marks in your bachelor’s degree (with relaxation to 45% for SC/ST candidates) for any subject. Similarly, for the class XII examination or its equivalent, you must have scored at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- Alternatively, you can also qualify for admission if you have passed the 10+2 HSC examination with a minimum of 50% marks or the equivalent examination recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), as stipulated by the respective state/central government authorities.
- For those who have pursued a different academic stream, passing the 10+2 HSC examination with a score of 50% marks in relevant subjects, or meeting the equivalent requirements, will make them eligible for admission to the BA Economics program. This is also applicable for those excelling in State Level Sports/games, where they need to have scored at least 50% in their senior secondary examination (10+2) or its equivalent, as recognized by the university.
- For those aiming for subjects other than Economics, Accountancy, Commerce/Business Studies, or Science-related fields, the minimum requirement is passing the 10+2 HSC examination or its equivalent.
