Guru Nanak Dev University offers scholarships to deserving, disabled, disabled, blind and economically weak students. Candidates must meet the eligibility conditions set by the college to avail of the scholarships. Further details about the GNDU scholarships are given below.
- Students can also apply for post merit, national, state, and non-Hindi speaking state scholarships from the DPI, Punjab. Several additional organisations also provide Guru Nanak Dev University scholarships to worthy students.
- Merit-based world university service scholarships are also offered to newly admitted students at the start of the academic session.
- The preference is given to students from rural areas who attended government, government-aided schools in rural Punjab.
- GNDU students admitted to the B.Sc (Hons. Sch.), M.Sc (Hons. Sch.), and M.Sc (Hons.) Human Genetics programs are eligible for special scholarships.
