Guru Nanak Dev University, [GNDUC] Jalandhar has been ranked at 59th place by National Institute ranking Framework [NIRF] in 2018 rankings. In the cultural and sports activities too, GNDUC has been 9 times National cultural Champion, 22 times winner of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Trophy and 13 times Noth Zone Inter-University Cultural Champion. The University has received the award of "University with Potential for Excellence" from UGC.
The college also provides scholarships to the meritorious students and needy students along with caste-based scholarships.
