WBJEE Mop-up Counselling 2024: The WBJEE mop-up counselling 2024 round started on Aug 5, 2024. To appear for the mop-up round candidates must register themselves online by Aug 7, 2024.
The conducting authorities have released a revised schedule for the WBJEE counselling 2024. The registration dates were extended to Jul 21, 2024, providing additional time for the candidates to prepare a list of colleges under WBJEE for admission.
The West Bengal Joint Entrance Exam or WBJEE 2024 is a great way for aspiring candidates to gain admission to top colleges in West Bengal. Thus, candidates must keep a check on the counselling dates and other important information.
However, in case any candidate faces difficulties during rounds 1 and 2 they can appear for the mop-up rounds given they fulfil the eligibility criteria.

WBJEE Mop-up Counselling 2024: Eligibility Criteria
The WBJEE mop-up counselling 2024 is an optional round conducted for candidates who have faced issues during their registration of WBJEE counselling 2024 rounds 1 or 2. The mop-up round is conducted after every round for candidates’ convenience.
However, not all candidates can appear for this counselling round. To be able to appear for the mop-up round of WBJEE 2024, candidates must complete the online registration.
Moreover, newly registered candidates are also required to submit a registration fee. The following are the criteria for the candidates who can appear for the WBJEE mop-up counselling 2024:
- Candidates who were allocated seats and paid the seat acceptance fees for either rounds 1 or 2 but did not complete admission.
- Candidates who were not allocated seats in rounds 1 or 2.
- Candidates who haven’t registered for WBJEE counselling 2024.
- All registered candidates except those who voluntarily withdrew from the WBJEE counselling process.

WBJEE Mop-up Counselling 2024: Important Dates
After the registrations for rounds 1 and round 2 are done along with choice filling and locking and college acceptance fee payment, the mop-up round is usually conducted. WBJEE Mop-up Counselling 2024 Process
Candidates with a valid WBJEE 2024 or JEE Main 2024 rank are eligible to participate in the WBJEE counselling mop-up round. All applicants must submit their preferences for colleges and courses.
The registered candidates for the WBJEE 2024 mop-up counselling round will be required to pay an additional fee of INR 200. However, if any candidate has previously not participated in the WBJEE counselling process will be required to pay INR 1,000 as the fee.
Candidates must remember that the mop-up round is optional for all registered candidates. Once the candidates fill in their choices and lock in the option they will be provided a chance to modify their already-filled choices.

WBJEE 2024 Reporting Centres
Upon paying the WBJEE acceptance fee, the candidates must be present at their respective WBJEE 2024 reporting centres as per the provided schedules. The reporting centres are the institutes allotted to the students during the WBJEE counselling process 2024.
