How is JEE Advanced 2024 Result Prepared?
Candidates need to know how the JEE Advanced result is calculated. A candidate's final score in the IIT Advanced result 2024 will be calculated by combining the marks in both papers in the exam. The total scores of each subject are calculated, and aggregate scores after that are derived.
The final scores are then used to allot ranks in the IIT JEE Advanced result. Candidates must appear in both paper 1 and paper 2 to be considered for inclusion in the Common Ranks List.
- Subject-Wise Calculation of Scores: Marks Obtained in any subject (say, physics) in the JEE Advanced result = Marks obtained in (physics) Paper 1 + Marks obtained in (physics) Paper 2
- Overall Marks Calculation: Overall Marks in the JEE Advanced result = Marks obtained in physics + Marks obtained in Chemistry + Marks obtained in Mathematics
- Rank List: Candidates that score above the cut-off in both, paper 1 and paper 2 will be eligible to be included in the rank list for JEE Advanced 2024. The rank list will be released on the official website soon after the final answer key is released.
