JEE Advanced Exam Centres 2024 (Out): List with Cities, Codes, Address

JEE Advanced exam centres 2024 list was released by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) on May 2, 2024. IIT Madras has announced that it will be in three cities outside India Abhu Dhabi, Dubai, and Kathmandu. Candidates can select 8 JEE Advanced exam city 2024 while filling out their application form.

IIT JEE Advanced exam is scheduled to be conducted in 232 cities across the world. According to the latest list, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra have the highest number of exam cities (26), followed by Uttar Pradesh with 18 exam cities and Gujarat and Karnataka with 12 exam cities reserved for conducting JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced centres 2024 will be spread across all central states and cities in India. The conducting authority decides the centres for JEE Advanced 2024, i.e., seven Zonal Coordinating (ZC) IITs under the Joint Admission Board (JAB).

IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT Kanpur, and IIT Madras are the seven zones in which JEE Advanced 2024 exam centres are located. Candidates must select their preferred zone when filling out the JEE Advanced 2024 application form. JEE Advanced 2024 will only be held in Indian cities.

JEE Advanced 2024 Exam Centres Highlights

JEE Advanced 2024 will not be held in any other country except India. International candidates may sit the exam at their own expense in Indian centres. JEE Advanced 2024 exam centres are divided into 7 zones under each IIT, and different cities will have centres for various IITs. 

• JEE Advanced 2024 is conducted in 114 cities (approx) across India.
• JEE Advanced exam centre allotment 2024: Candidates can choose any 5 preferred exam cities zone-wise while filling out the JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form. The seats are allotted to candidates based on availability.
• Candidates must carry the JEE Advanced 2024 Admit Card and any government ID proof (Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Driving License, PAN Card) for identity proof.
• If candidates failed to show the Admit Card and Government ID to the JEE Advanced centre staff, candidates would not be allowed to write the examination.
• Candidates are advised not to come late for the exam. If they report any later than the time mentioned on the admit card, they will not be allowed to appear for the examination.
• Request for the exam center change of JEE Advanced 2024 will not be entertained for any students.

• Reach the JEE Advanced exam centre 2024: Try to reach the JEE Advanced 2024 exam centre before the scheduled time.
• Pay attention to the Invigilator: Be careful and pay attention to the invigilator inside the exam centre.
• Submit the admit card: Make sure to submit the admit card on time.
• Attempt both papers: Make sure to attempt both papers as both Paper 1 and Paper 2 are compulsory.
