Placements and Internships
1)A student has to do two internships during the MBA course. One is during the end of the 2nd semester and the other in the 4th semester.Companies like ITC have come for the internships and students get paid as well. Many other companies that come have also offered paid internships .
2)Many well known companies such as ITC , EY, TATA Consultancy, Asian paints, Berger, Flipkart ,Himalaya , Byju's and so on have come for placements and recruited students for the job . Sometimes Students get placed in the same company they did their internship in. A few of our seniors got placed in ITC in the 2nd semester itself, where they did their internship.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I wrote the PGCET entance exam to get into this college and my rank was 377. The cut-off for the year 2019 in PGCET exam was around 430.
You can get into the college through management quota or through the PGCET quota .
Academics and Faculty
1)The classes usually start at 8.30 or 9 and go on upto 3 or 4, depending on the lecturers and the syllabus to be completed.
2)Assignments are given to the students and team projects are also assigned, these tend to interesting and engaging and you learn something as an outcome .Assigments and quizzes are conducted apart from two internals and a final semester exam. All these carry marks and must not be taken lightly
3)Attendence is a very strict priority, not less than 80% of attendence per student.
4)Plenty of case studies are given to make the students understand the real corporate world problems. Presentations and industrial visits are done too.
5)The classes are handled by a group of amazing faculty who have had their fair share of experience in teaching. Very professional teaching is given. Doubts are clarified as many times as possible and many examaples while teaching are given to get a better understanding of the subject.
6)Apart from the syllabus , the college gives various other value added courses so that we can stand out among other students when it comes to placements. Digital marketing, Python and Anaconda program , Excel certification, Toastmasters club and many more courses are provided to prepare us to face the corporate world. In addition to this we also get Buiness Standard newspaper as well.
Fees and Scholarships
The fees structure of the college is considerably less than other colleges with all the extra certification courses being provided by them.
Scholarship option as given to the students as well.
Clubs and Associations
College has a variety of clubs from quiz clubs to mountaineering clubs. UTSAV is a fest that is conducted by the college and is a very grand fest that one should not miss. Every department gets to organise their own fests too and this bring out the potential in the students. Students are also sent to various other colleges to compete in fests as well
The Toastmasters club is a newly implimented club in the MBA department and is conducted every week by the students themselves and they are mentored by mentors from various places

Entrance Exams & Admissions : This college considers various entrance exams for admission such as CAT, MAT, KMAT, PGCET, or through Management quota. Other than PGCET, all the exams such as CAT, MAT, KMAT are for eligibility criteria under management quota. Under PGCET, if your rank is below the cutoff for the college, you can apply for admission. The cutoff changes every year. Under management quota, the admission process consists of aptitude test, group discussion, and a final round of personal interview. The admission process generally starts around the month of June-July.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I had written the PGCET exam in order to get admission into the college. The cut-off rank for MBA in BMS is less than 400 I think. Once you get a seat through KEA you'll have to submit your documents and your admission will be done. Quite an easy process

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Placements:BMSCE offers decent placements. Major recruiters are ITC, EY, Asian paints. Average package is is 3 LPA. Can go upto 7 LPA. Depending upon students ability. College have a placement cell which takes care of placements as well as internships. Entrance: there are two options 1. PGCET 2. Management1. PGCET: this exam is only applicable to students of Karnataka. Minimum 7 years of education should be pursued in Karnataka. Students clearing this exam directly get admission from Government of Karnataka. To enter you need very good ranking. General merit cutoff stands at 400. Fees being 2.5 lakhs for overall academics.Management: management quota can be applied by MAT, CMAT, CAT. This student has to face written, group discussion and personal interview round. Academics and faculty:BMSCE is an autonomous college affiliated with VTU. Although the college follow basic guidelines of University, they can modify the syllabus according to the requirements. The
