Placements and Internships
No internship did yet. There are many great companies visiting our campus. The average salary is about INR 8 lakhs per annum. The highest salary is grabbed by CS-IT students which is about INR 30 lakhs per annum. About 60% of batch gets placed. Alumni network is very strong.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are 14 hostels. The hostel fees is included so no need to worry. No hostel is mandatory. Food is good. The mess fees are INR 20,000 per semester. The infrastructure is best in this region.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Hii everyone! BIT Mesra offers B.E. programs on basis of JEE Main marks. The counselling is done through Jossa (joint counselling for all NIT,IIT and GFTI. The typical cut off for Mechanical engineering at BIT Mesra is AIR 24,000 for other states and AIR 27,000 for home state Jharkhand.
Academics and Faculty
All academics are good. The quality of teaching is also good. Overall experience is nice.
Fees and Scholarships
The course fee is INR 3 lakhs per year. GP Birla scholarship is available. About 50 students get the scholarship. Yes they are needed and they are easily availed from the branches at campus itself.
Clubs and Associations
There are large number of clubs in the college. There are two major fests, the techfest Pantheon and college fest Bitotsav. The life is really good.

Academics & Faculty : Quality and methodology of teaching is amazing as the institue consists of adroit and experinced faculty.The university is also the place for excellent academics.professor are student-friendly they teach the students in a well organized way and the are also online accessible thorugh email. ATTENDANCE: students of BIT mesra should contain atleast 75% of attendance or else they would fall in F* region which leads to suspension of END sem exams in specific subject. these students should clear the subject at summer time called short term course.
