- Eligibility criteria to join Indian Institute of Technology, [IIT] Bombay is to clear the JAT, which is an entrance exam for doing masters in IITs.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility for the course I am enrolled in was bachelors in science/engineering, and there was a centralized admission system based on the all India rank obtained in the qualifying entrance examination. I took the examination called JAM (Joint Admission Test for M.Sc.) for selection in this course. For admission here the cutoff rank was AIR 275 in our batch. Typically, the cutoff is below AIR 300.
