PLACEMENTS
Training and Placement Cell at MUJ is a well-established cell and conducts training activities for the final year students mainly focusing on Career planning, Personality Development Industry- Institute Interaction, off site training, guest lectures, Industrial visits, Campus placements, Entrepreneurship Development. In view of above Training and Placement Cell conducted various programs like Group Discussions, Mock Interviews, and Aptitude test etc to encourage students and to develop their skills. With a view to bridge the gap between industrial requirements and academic curriculum, experts from the various fields of engineering and management are invited to enable the students to know and understand the requirements of industries and accordingly prepare themselves for the future
The academic year 2014-2015 has been an eventful and landmark year for the Training and Placement Cell of MUJ. The students were successfully placed for their internship in top notch companies. Campus Recruitment for this academic year started on 6th September 2014.
As on today Sixty three (63) companies, both national and multinational, from all over India interviewed our Engineering students either for direct recruitment or through internship followed by placement. We were fortunate enough to host companies across sectors, with Amazon, Appirio, SAP Lab, CSC, Asahi Glass, Kirloskar, Eagle Burgman, ST Microelectronics, cruiseline shipping, JCB, Infineon, Temenos, Shree Cement, Everest Industries, Salucro, Xebia, Advanced Technology, Sasken Communication, Wipro Technologies to name a few. The highest package offered so far had been 10.5 lpa by Amazon. Our Management students were exposed to 30 companies so far including Vodafone, Jokata, American Express, TCS, NS Group, SAR Group, AU Financers, Corning, Godrej etc and secured successful placement. MUJ is a multifaculty University and is equally concerned for the placement of our Non Engineering graduate students . Despite the fact that we have limited number of Non engineering students passing out this year, the students were given excellent placement opportunities with top companies including Godrej & Boyce, Accenture, TCS, Zensar Technologies, DTC, Genpact, Pepper Square, WNS, Jaipur Rugs, Horizon Technologies and many more. Many more companies are in pipeline till the early june.
TRAINING
It arranges training for students in industries for 8 weeks at the end of 6th Semester and for 6 months in the 8th Semester. All the Engineering Department students undergo Six months training. The students of the college undergo their training at various prestigious organisations as, Maruti Udyog Ltd., L&T, Havells, DRDO, CSIO, Ericsson, Siemens, Reliance Group, HCL, Samsung, LG , Shree Cement etc. The students act as a channel of communication with industries.

FACILITIES OFFERED AT THE CENTRAL LIBRARY:
Currently, the library has about 18000 books, 700 CDs/DVDs and subscribes to more than 100 journals/magazines in print and e-resources. Major e-resources such as IEL Online Library, Science Direct, ACM Digital Library, ASME, ASCE, McGraw-Hill Access Engineering, EBSCO for Management, Hotel Management and Architecture are accessible to the MUJ community from anywhere on the campus.
HOSTELS:
Hostel fee each year will be Rs 1,46,000 and it increases every year by 10% roughly
Hostels are no less compared to a three-star hotel.

COLLEGE EVENTS:
Academic facilities provided by MUJ are above par compared to most private colleges in the North. MUJ is a new college and it has been working hard to earn a name and reputation in the region. To do that, excellent faculties who are researchers, PhDs, UPSC advisers, experienced industrialists.
Teaching methods are simple and yet understanding. Its an advantage for students who grasp less easily as I believe there is a lot of spoon feeding. A students whose school concepts are weak can also perform well in academics due to this factor.
Each branch has a few PhDs and associate professors. Most of the other faculties are Asst Professors I & II
Like most engineering colleges,For each course in a semester, there are 2 internal exams carrying 20 marks each. 10 marks are granted by the faculty based on class performance, quiz, assignments and your behaviour terms with the faculty. End semester exams carry 100/2 = 50 marks.
Grades are awarded on relative basis and are measured on a 10 point scale.
Btech fee for four years for students enrolling in 2016 will be Rs 10 lakh 31 thousand.
Two scholarships in each engineering stream, restricted to students with top 5000 ranks in the MU Engineering Entrance Examination, will be given on merit-cum-means basis.
Rajasthan Merit Scholarships
One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, will be given to students from Rajasthan domicile, with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80% in 10+2 or equivalent qualifying exam. To be eligible, the student should have passed his/her 10th and 10+2 exam from a school in Rajasthan.
i. The maximum scholarship given to each student will not exceed the annual fees of the programme joined, or Rs. 1 Lakh, whichever is lower.
ii. To continue to get the scholarship, the student should maintain a CGPA of 7.5 or above, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.
TMA Pai Merit Scholarships
i. One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 100% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 90%, in the qualifying exam.
ii. One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 50% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to the student with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 80%, in the qualifying exam.
iii. One Scholarship in each stream of engineering and one in each non-engineering programme, with 25% waiver on annual tuition fees, will be given to students with the highest aggregate marks in excess of 75%, in the qualifying exam.
iv. To continue to get the scholarships, the students should maintain a CGPA of 8.0 or above, failing which the scholarship for the subsequent years will be withdrawn.
PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB APERTURE Provide a platform for constructive hobby and expose members to photography and inculcate the sense of creativity a diverse viewpoint to the surroundings differently.
The Robotics Club involves the student community who derive pleasure in creating robots that may even be potent to work without human intervention. The Club was created with the purpose of developing interest in the field of robotics among the student community. The Club will provide workspace, tools, and guidance to interested students apart from taking up specific projects.
The Club provides an opportunity to participate in national or international level competitions.
LITMUS (THE LITERATURE CLUB):
Litmus is Manipal University Jaipur’s very own literature society. The ethos of this club revolves around providing an open forum for students to discuss, discover and grow, Litmus aims to help each of its members to express themselves through various platforms such as

IAESTE
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is an independent, non-profit and non-political student exchange organisation. It provides students in technical degrees with paid, course-related training abroad and employers with highly skilled, highly motivated international trainees. With more than 80 member countries and over 4000 traineeships exchanged each year, it is the largest organisation of its kind in the world.
The main aim is to help the members realise their dreams and to facilitate the exchange of ideas both technical as well as, cultural, by connecting students from various cultures and countries

Entrance Exams & Admissions : MUOET is the entrance exam taken individually by the college. I took the Manipal entrance exam. My course is mechanical and you can get it at 20-35k.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : To get admission in Manipal, you need to give entrance exam conducted by the institute, and you should have a minimum of 50% in your board exams. Manipal University, Jaipur is comparatively a new campus but its growth over time is commendable. Institute has great faculty, laboratories, and other facilities as well as opportunities.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Above 50% in PCM in 12th boards. There is MU OET entrance exam for this Institute to get admission. Every year it varies, in 2015 fo mechanical it was around 36000 all India rank.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Manipal University requires 50% marks in 12th Board Exam from Science stream. MUOET is Manipal University Open Entrance Test which is common to all the branches of Manipal. The cut off varies from year to year. The cut off for Mechanical went to 25,000 ranks in MUOET.
