NMMS West Bengal Results 2024
What does NMMS stand for? It stands for National Merit cum Means Scholarship. It is a scholarship exam offered to students of 8th class by the Ministry of Human Resource Development. The main concept of this scholarship started in May 2008. The Central Government has since sponsored it. But the exam regulatory body will be the respective state government. Besides, the NMMS West Bengal results will be announced by the school education board of West Bengal.

NMMS West Bengal Cutoff Marks
The NMMS cutoff marks for the year 2024 have been released by the WBSED, which is the minimum mark that candidates need to score to qualify for the NMMS Scholarship examination. The cutoff marks usually depend on the performance of the student, the difficulty level of the exam and the number of students who have taken it.
- The cutoff marks mainly depend on the category of the students.
- Due to reservation, the cutoff marks for the students from SC, ST, and OBC categories are comparatively less from the general category.
- As per the rules, students from under reserved categories should score more than 50% Marks in the VII class.
- Students from the General category should score a minimum of 55% Marks in the 7th class to appear for the entrance exam.
