Latest Update: The exam dates for the CUET 2020 Sessions 1 & 2 have been postponed due to the increasing threat of the coronavirus and the national lockdown in effect currently to prevent the further spread of the COVID-19 disease.

Christ University has introduced a third session of the entrance exam this year and the last date to apply for the third session is May 10, 2020. The rest of the exam dates for the session-3 exam will be announced soon.

CUET 2020 Important Dates

  • Registration: Application Form is available on the official website of Christ University from December 8, 2019 and the last date to submit the Application Form for Exam-1 will be on April 8, 2020 and the last date for Exam-2 will be on April 20, 2020. The last date to apply for Exam-3 is May 10, 2020.
  • Admit Card: The Admit Card will be released online for the exam 1 aspirants on April 8, 2020 and the exam 2 aspirants on April 20, 2020.

CUET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for different courses offered through CUET 2020 is listed below:

BBA, BBA (Hons), BBA (Finance and International Business), BBA (Finance and Accountancy), B Com (Hons), B Com (International Finance), B Com (Professional) and, BA-CEP, BHM The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized university or board. Those in Class 12 or awaiting Class 12 result, are also eligible to apply.
BA LLB (Hons) The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized university or board with at least 45% marks in any stream. Students pursuing the International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. The candidate should also be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Those in Class 12 or awaiting Class 12 result, are also eligible to apply.
BBA LLB (Hons) The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized university or board with at least 45% marks in any stream. Students pursuing the International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. LLM The candidate must have passed LLB from a recognized university in India or abroad recognized by UGC/AIU. Those in the final year are also eligible to apply, but they should have scored 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters of UG exams.

CUET 2020 Application Form

  • Registration: Application Form is available on the official website of Christ University (www.christuniversity.in) from December 8, 2019 and the last date to submit the Application Form for session 1 will be on April 8, 2020 and for session 2 will be on April 20, 2020.
  • Registration Fee: Candidates have to pay the registration fee while filling the Application Form online (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  • Document Uploads: Candidates have to upload the documents for proof while filling the application form and upload the recently took passport size photograph.

CUET 2020 Exam Centres

  • Centre: CUET 2020 Session 1 Entrance Test will be conducted in NCR (National Capital Region), Kolkata & Bengaluru only and for shortlisted candidates, after Session 2 Entrance Test will be conducted in Bengaluru only.
  • Choice of Centre: Candidate should mention the Centre Code and Name of his/ her choice of Test Centre in Online Application Form.
  • Change of Centre: Requests for change of Test Centre and Subject opted by the candidate in the Application Form will not be considered under any circumstances.

CUET 2020 Admit Card

  • Availability: CUET 2020 Admit Card will be available on the official website from April 8, 2020 for Exam-1, April 20, 2020 for Exam-2, and May 10, 2020, for Exam-3.
  • Download: Candidates should download the Hall-Tickets from the University website.
  • Id Proof: Candidate must carry government ID proof such as Voter Id, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport along with the Admit Card.

CUET 2020 Exam Pattern

  • Mode: CUET 2020 will be conducted online i.e. Computer-based Test (CBT).
  • Question Type: The question paper will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
  • No. of Questions & Topics: CUET 2020 will consist of 120 questions in total which comprise of the topic from English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematics Operations, Critical/ Analytical/ Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis, and Interpretation.
  • Duration: The time given to complete the examination will be 2 hours i.e. 120 minutes.

CUET 2020 Results

  • Results: Results will be declared on the official website for all category candidates based on qualified marks.
  • Publish: Result of CUET will not be announced in two phases - Entrance Test and Final Selection List. First, the result for the entrance test will be announced followed by the publishing of the final selection list Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview.
  • Selection List: The final selection list will consist of shortlisted candidates in CUET 2020 who are eligible for admission to various programmes.

How to Check CUET 2020 Results

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of "Christ University"
  • Step 2: Click on the "Admission" tab from the top and then select the "Results" from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 3: Enter the Application Number/ Roll Number & Password. Click the "Submit" Button
  • Step 4: The result will appear in the screen with the marks of each section separately.
  • Step 5: Candidates can download and take a print of it for future reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

CUET Applications open for MBA Session I in October, Session II mid-February, all other UG and PG programmes in December, MPhil in January and Ph.D. mid-August each year.

Please ensure that you are using a stand-alone system and not your smartphone/android. Also, use Mozilla as your browser.

It is not possible to apply for more than one programme in the same application form. However, for certain programmes, while filling the application 2nd and 3rd preference option will be available. The candidate may enter the preferences from the options available in the drop down. The candidate cannot manually enter her/his preferences on the application printout.

It is advised not to use + while entering the country code for any number.

After payment, if you do not receive the 8 digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank.

The last date will be as per what is provided specifically for a programme under the important dates section. If there is no important date’s section, the candidate will choose the date from the available options while filling the application.

Each programme will have its own eligibility criteria and will be available under Related Links when the applicant clicks on the programme of her/his choice.

For all programmes that do not have an entrance test, the candidate will opt for the date from the list of offered dates while filling the application.

If the important date section for the programme does not state when the results will be declared, then the same will be declared within 48 hours of completion of the process and the offer of admission will be valid for 3-5 working days.

The admission registration fee is to be paid along with the programme fee for the first year only if selected and processing admission.

The loan application is issued on request only when the student presents the first year fee paid receipt to the office. The applying and processing of loan is the student's responsibility. When the loan is sanctioned and if it is sanctioned in the name of the institution the student will have to submit the cheque/DD to the Office of Accounts who will reimburse the amount in the student’s name.

The cancellation policy of the institution is based on the F.No 1-3/2016(CPPP-I) DU) UGC notification 11th July 2016. Cancellation must be processed in person by presenting all the original documents received from the institution while processing admission.

The Cut-off for Bcom,B.com F&A and Bcom morning is announced after the declaration of 12th Board results. As the admission process of this course doesn't have any GD/PI, it is purely based on your 12th percentage. Last year, for CBSE board students, cut-off was 85% and for State Board- Kerela 96%, Karnataka 90%. 

For the Bcom Hons programme, one has to clear the Christ University Entrance Test(CUET) and then go through the interview process.
