Schedule for CUET 2020

The exam for every programme would be conducted on the same day, in three different time slots. The candidates are supposed to check the time slot for their course and reach the venue at least an hour before the exam begins.

CUET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to go through the CUET 2020 Eligibility Criteria defined by the organizing authorities carefully in order to avoid any unnecessary mistakes. Candidates who successfully qualify the eligibility criteria for CUET 2020, will only be allowed to move forward with the admission process. The Eligibility Criteria for different courses offered through CUET 2020 is listed below:

BBA, BBA (Hons), BBA (Finance and International Business), BBA (Finance and Accountancy), B Com (Hons), B Com (International Finance), B Com (Professional) and, BA-CEP, BHM The candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognized university or board. Those in Class 12 or awaiting Class 12 result, are also eligible to apply.
BA LLB (Hons) The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized university or board with at least 45% marks in any stream. Students pursuing the International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. The candidate should also be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Those in Class 12 or awaiting Class 12 result, are also eligible to apply.
BBA LLB (Hons) The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized university or board with at least 45% marks in any stream. Students pursuing the International curriculum must have AIU approval and must obtain a grade of not less than 'C' or its equivalent. The candidate should also be below 20 years of age as on 1st July 2020. Those in class 12 or awaiting class 12 result, are also eligible to apply.
LLM The candidate must have passed LLB from a recognized university in India or abroad recognized by UGC/AIU. Those in the final year are also eligible to apply, but they should have scored 50% or above aggregate in all the semesters of UG exams.

CUET 2020 Application Form

The Application Form for CUET 2020 was available on the official website of Christ University (www.christuniversity.in) from April 21, 2020 and the last date to submit the Application Form for session 3 was on June 2, 2020 and for session 2 was April 20, 2020.

  • Registration Fee: Candidates had to pay the registration fee while filling the Application Form online (Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking)
  • Document Uploads: Candidates had to upload the documents for proof while filling the application form and upload the recently taken passport size photograph.
  • Application form: Candidates were asked to submit the application form along with all essential documents to the respective course campuses within 7 days of applying online in an A4 envelope.

CUET 2020 Exam Centres

Exam Centre for CUET 2020 Session 3 Entrance Test was Bengaluru only. Candidates mention the Centre Code and name of his/ her choice of Test Centre while filling up the Online Application Form. Once allotted, the exam centre is not changed under any circumstances. 

CUET 2020 Admit Card

CUET 2020 Admit Card was made available on the official website from June 4, 2020 for Exam-3, April 20, 2020, for Exam-2. The Admit Card is considered to be a very important document for official identification purposes. Candidates are advised to keep their respective admit card in possession while attempting the exam. 

The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of Christ University only.

  • Id Proof: On the day of the exam, the candidates have to carry a government-issued photo ID proof such as the Voter Id, PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport along with the Admit Card
  • Note: The candidates were advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully and follow them during the conduct of the examination.

CUET 2020 Exam Pattern

CUET 2020 was conducted online i.e. Computer-Based Test (CBT). The question paper has Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). CUET 2020 consists of 120 questions in total, which comprises of different topics from English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematics Operations, Critical/ Analytical/ Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis, and Interpretation. CUET 2020 Result

CUET 2020 Result will be declared on the official website for all category candidates based on qualified marks. The Result of CUET 2020 will be announced in two phases - Entrance Test and Final Selection List. First, the result for the entrance test will be announced followed by the publishing of the final selection list Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, and Personal Interview.

  • Selection List: The final selection list will consist of shortlisted candidates in CUET 2020 who are eligible for admission to various programs.
  • Selection process: The selection process for CUET is Based on the candidates' performance in Entrance Test (ET), Skill Assessment (SA), Micro Presentation (MP), Personal Interview (PI), and academic performance of the candidate. Different courses will have different selection processes. Some of the courses have different requirements for instance the B.Com selection process is based on a candidates' class 12 performance.

How to Check CUET 2020 Result

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of "Christ University"
  • Step 2: Click on the "Admission" tab from the top and then select the "Results" from the drop-down menu.
  • Step 3: Enter the Application Number/ Roll Number & Password. Click the "Submit" Button
  • Step 4: The result will appear in the screen with the marks of each section separately.
  • Step 5: Candidates can download and take a print of it for future reference.

Frequently Asked Questions

CUET Applications open for MBA Session I in October, Session II mid-February, all other UG and PG programmes in December, MPhil in January and Ph.D. mid-August each year.

Please ensure that you are using a stand-alone system and not your smartphone/android. Also, use Mozilla as your browser.

It is not possible to apply for more than one programme in the same application form. However, for certain programmes, while filling the application 2nd and 3rd preference option will be available. The candidate may enter the preferences from the options available in the drop down. The candidate cannot manually enter her/his preferences on the application printout.

It is advised not to use + while entering the country code for any number.

After payment, if you do not receive the 8 digit application number, then your application process is incomplete and will go in for refund process. The refund will take about 15 days and must be checked with your bank.

The last date will be as per what is provided specifically for a programme under the important dates section. If there is no important date’s section, the candidate will choose the date from the available options while filling the application.

Each programme will have its own eligibility criteria and will be available under Related Links when the applicant clicks on the programme of her/his choice.

For all programmes that do not have an entrance test, the candidate will opt for the date from the list of offered dates while filling the application.

If the important date section for the programme does not state when the results will be declared, then the same will be declared within 48 hours of completion of the process and the offer of admission will be valid for 3-5 working days.

The admission registration fee is to be paid along with the programme fee for the first year only if selected and processing admission.

The loan application is issued on request only when the student presents the first year fee paid receipt to the office. The applying and processing of loan is the student's responsibility. When the loan is sanctioned and if it is sanctioned in the name of the institution the student will have to submit the cheque/DD to the Office of Accounts who will reimburse the amount in the student’s name.

The cancellation policy of the institution is based on the F.No 1-3/2016(CPPP-I) DU) UGC notification 11th July 2016. Cancellation must be processed in person by presenting all the original documents received from the institution while processing admission.
