  • Participants should be aware that if they exercise their options now and those options allocate a seat, the vacant seat will be given to the following deserving applicant. They will have no claim to the prior allocation.
  • Allotments will be placed on the website.
  • They shall invariably report at the allotted college on or before the notified date.

Candidates in the particular category (PH/CAP/NCC/Sports & Games/AI) must upload scanned copies of all of their certificates, including any that are academic-related.

Steps to Complete AP EDCET Counselling Registration 2023

Required Certificates to be Produced by all Candidates  

The original certificates that must be uploaded for scanning during AP EDCET counselling 2023 registration are listed below. Only scanned original certificates from the relevant universities will be taken into consideration. Website-downloaded certificates won't be taken into consideration. At the time of certificate verification at the Help Line Center, Andhra Loyola College, Sentini Hospital Road, Veterinary Colony, Vijayawada, the following certificates must be submitted by PH/CAP/NCC & Sports:

  • PH: The District Medical Board granted the certificate. Only candidates who have an impairment of 40% or more are eligible.
  • CAP: Identification card and Service Discharge book for verification; Certificate given by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer (in the case of Ex-Servicemen). Only candidates with Andhra Pradesh-domiciled parents may be considered under the "CAP" Category.
  • Sports and NCC: Must present authentic certificates given by qualified authorities.
  • An official document from their residence's competent authority, in Anglo-Indian.

Note: While applying for admission, original certificates must not be deposited in the college.

AP EDCET Web Counselling Schedule for Certificates verification: Certificates to be produced by PH/CAP/NCC/Sports Candidates

  • Applicants must have a handicap of 40% or more to qualify for a PH certification issued by the District Medical Board.
  • For ex-servicemen, CAP- Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer, identity card, and discharge book are required for verification.
  • Only candidates with Andhra Pradesh-domiciled parents may be considered under the "CAP" Category. Provide original certificates from reputable authorities for NCC and sports. The verifying authority's judgement is final regarding the specific reservation categories with defined priorities.

PH Category

Only candidates who have a disability of 40% or more are eligible, and they must present a certificate issued by the District Medical Board. Both ordinary candidates and applicants in the Special Category may exercise their options. Note: PHO stands for orthopaedic, and PHH stands for hearing.

CAP Category

  • An official certificate from the Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer is required for veterans.
  • Discharge Book for Identity Cards for verification. Serving employees must present a service certificate from their place of employment detailing the relationship between the candidate and the staff. Only applicants whose parents reside in A.P. or T.S. are qualified to apply under the "CAP" Category.

NCC Category: Concerned certificates and B & C certificates in qualifying exams only.

Instructions to AP EDCET Candidates

  • The attending candidates must present their original certificates for verification at the helpdesk centres. One set of verified copies of the certificates must be submitted.
  • Candidates are advised to consider their college selections carefully, as attendance alone does not guarantee a seat. The day before the AP EDCET counselling 2023, information about the seats available in different institutions and techniques will be posted on the website apedcet.apsche.ac.in.
  • Before admissions are finalised, the website will announce the tuition fees of private, unaided colleges. According to the Social Welfare Department's Government Memo No. 6905-C/SW.Edn-2/2010-3, issued 12.08.2011,
  • Subject to verification and eligibility as per the government's directives (whose parental income is up to Rs. 1 lakh per annum for others and up to INR 2 lakh per annum for SC/ST), students who fall within the SC/ST, BC/EBC, DW/MW, or RTF categories will be given consideration.
  • The second round of AP EDCET admission: After the first phase of web counselling for admissions to B.Ed colleges in the state is finished, AP EDCET counselling 2023 will begin. Applicants should visit the helpline centre and check their income, caste certificates, and TCs if they have not attended the first phase of counselling and have not yet gotten certification certificates in the counselling centres.
