Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College was established in 1996 with an initial intake of 180 students to serve the cause of technical education in the backward region of Rayalaseema. The College now offers eight B. Tech programs, eight M.Tech programs, MCA Program. AICTE has also accorded permission for 2nd Shift Polytechnic from the academic year 2009-10 and presently five Diploma courses are being offered. Today, Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College is one of the largest, most admired and sought after Institutions in Andhra Pradesh. The College is located in a sprawling campus of about 30 acres, amidst sylvan surroundings with aesthetically built infrastructure. The College is approved by AICTE and affiliated to JNTU Anantapur. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission into various courses. SVEC believes in extending full support to deserving students who work really hard to accomplish their goals. The college offers scholarships for those deserving merit students who cannot afford to pay the fee. Students belonging to the reservation category – BC, SC, and ST are given concessions. Admission shall be made as per as Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
Under the UG Admission 2021, the college offers undergraduate program Bachelor of Engineering (BE) with a specialization in Engineering and Technology. B. Tech Admission Pattern follows as 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the EAMCET and 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/ Management candidates. In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted into the second year of B. Tech to the extent of 10% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme. The minimum qualification for admission into the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Admission to B.Tech program is done through a merit list generated on the basis of the EAMCET examination conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. 80% of the seats are filled on the basis of the EAMCET merit list and the remaining 20% intake is reserved under the category of Management/ NRI quota. In the case of B.Tech admissions, the seats are divided into government quota, management quota, and NRI quota. 70 % of the total seats are allocated on the basis of merit list generated by EAMCET whereas remaining seats are reserved for students under management quota and NRI quota collectively. AP-EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) is an entrance examination for engineering aspirants aiming to study at one of the prestigious colleges present in the state of Andhra Pradesh. This state-level examination is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada. The selection criteria are AP-EAMCET scores. An application form can be obtained through the college website and fill in all the relevant information. Admission to Diploma requires the candidate to have minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the Diploma course is a pass in the 10th conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Engineering Colleges in the state through a common entrance test (CEEP) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. Any student who has passed the 10+2 examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh or equivalent examination can apply for Diploma courses provided at the institute. Admission in any branch of engineering with valid GATE score or eligibility at PGECET. In the case of M.Tech admissions, the seats are allocated on the basis of the PGCET or GATE merit list only. The candidates willing to apply for the MCA course must hold a Bachelor's degree from any university. The results of ICET are taken into consideration while selecting candidates. MCA Admission pattern is as follows. 70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener based on merit in the ICET along with 30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/ Management candidates. The selection process for MCA is AP-ICET merit li. For MCA admissions, the seat division is similar to that of the B.Tech courses. 30 % of the total seats are reserved for NRI quota and management quota whereas remaining seats are assigned on the basis of the entrance examination, ICET. For MCA, the merit list generated by ICET is taken into consideration.

EMCET marks are the eligibility criteria that lets you chose colleges for candidates with intermediate and it is ECET marks for diploma candidates. After the examination, based on their marks candidates have to select the college selection.

Cut off for college varies every year and also on the student rank.
The eligibility criteria for entrance is getting a good rank in EAMCET examination i.e engineering and medical common entrance test. The admission procedure is through counselling and also through management quota. The cutoff is as follows.ECE around 14000,EEE 140000,mech 16000,civil 18000,csse 20000,EIE 30000,it 30000.this is for OC category.cutoffs for other categories are lesser.
The eligibility criteria for our college is the student should have been completed their inter and can admission procedure is normal. The entrance exam is eamcet.the cut off is it may varies from yea r to year it may be approx(8000)eamcet rank
To join computer science engineering course in our college we should qualify an entrance exam named EAMCET (engineering and medical common entrance test). We should cross the cutoff Mark which can also depend on our caste.
The eligibility criteria for our course is based on AP EAMCET marks. I took AP EAMCET exam to join this college. I don't remember the cutoff marks, it was decided by the college management.
Candidate must clear the AP EAMCET exam and must have passed the 12th with minimum 93% of marks from the recognized institute to get admission in this college. The cutoff rank must be below 62,000.
A person who completes 12th-grade can be applied to AP EAMCET entrance examination.The procedure includes counseling and through online based.
