RV College of Engineering placements are often considered the best in Bangalore. The campus placement drive for the ongoing branch recorded 281 companies offering 1415 offers. RVCE allows the students to participate in the interdisciplinary branch selection process. In 2022, the students grabbed multiple offers during the drive. RV College of Engineering Placement Cell

The placement cell of RV College of Engineering is called the Department of Placement and Training. The Department of Placement and Training has consistently maintained an excellent recruitment record. The placement cell has successfully placed UG and PG students of RVCE in various world's leading corporate companies. The cell conducts multiple training activities to prepare students for the final placements. Some of the functions of the placement cell are as follows:

The pandemic situation had little impact on the total number of offers received during RV College of Engineering placements. But the institute has recovered completely during the latest ongoing placement drive. RVCE ECE placements recorded the highest number of offers received (247 offers) followed by the CSE branch (241 offers) during the 2021 placement drive. The RV College of Engineering placements percentage for the undergraduate has been above 85 percent in the last 5 years. In 2021, the PG CSE department observed 100 percent placements. RVCE CSE average package for the B.Tech stream was INR 13.7 LPA.

A total of 179 B.Tech CSE students have grabbed job offers from top employer recruiters. Though the highest salary increased by a minimal percentage, the average salary witnessed a dip of INR 1.82 LPA.
