Although the boys hostel is built within the campus, the girls hostel is spread across multiple locations in Bangalore where one is close to the college campus and one is in Jayanagar. A college bus is provided for students living in the hostels, but the travel time could be a setback due to the Bangalore traffic. However, students from 2nd year onwards usually move to PG's that are closer to the campus. Variety of food for breakfast and lunch is available at the main canteen while you also have a small canteen for snacks at affordable rates.
The campus has allocated all the boys hostels including the boy's mess, there is a confirmation of hygiene and clean food. The girls hostels are located near and around the college primises. The girls mess is located in respective hostels and even they are adorn to serve clean and hygiene healthy food. The curfew for the girls hostel is at 7PM and the costs sums up around ₹85,000/- Every department has it's own building and owns it's own classrooms. The campus is in total of 58 acres and includes a main library, 13 departments with their own department libraries and labs. The WiFi router is kept through out the campus to provide fast internet service to every student, staff and guest on campus.

R.V. College is spread over 51.6 acres i.e., 21.30 hectares. The total built-up area is 85360 Sqm with all amenities. Ramps and lifts have been provided to help the differently-abled and sick. 90% of the classrooms are provided with multimedia projectors and an internet facility. All academic blocks have secured Wi-Fi connectivity.

Placement office: The placement office has total 739 Sq. mts floor area, consisting of 1 Seminar Hall of 70 seating capacity with audio-video facilities, Placement officer’s room, pantry room, staff room, reception area, Library, 6 interview rooms, 2 Group Discussion Rooms. Video Conferencing facility in the department is also under consideration and proposals have already been received from the suppliers.
Library: The library has 1,24,708 volumes of books which include textbooks, scientific reference books, encyclopedias, and other multimedia resources. Library subscribes to 206 technical journals. 23 technical magazines. 15 daily newspapers which include English and Kannada. It has 27733 e-books subject to engineering and technology 9066 e-journals subscribed through VTU Consortium. The library is in process of digitizing rare volumes. Library also supports 12 UG + 22 PG departmental libraries. The library is open 24 xs7 and accessible online within the campus.
Hostel: The number of students accommodated in a room depends on the semester the student is in. As the concentration and privacy required is more as a student progresses to final year accordingly the accommodation is provided. There are three mess facilities one for the first year and the other two for seniors. There are exclusive Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian mess facilities. The hostel is provided with sports, a gymnasium and browsing facilities.
Food Court: The college Food Court is designed to cater to 1000 students & staff. It is spread over 500 square meters. The Food Court has a modern kitchen where food is steam cooked. The washed dishes are sterilized for hygienic serving. On-campus, there also is an extension food court counter.
Transport: The campus being 12Kms from the heart of the city and more than 20Km from suburban areas of the city, the college provides a transportation facility for both students and staff. There are sufficient buses which take care of commutation of about one thousand students. There are two exclusive buses for the staff. The city metropolitan transport service also runs city buses from important areas of the city to the college. Some of the BMTC route numbers are 220, 221, 222, 224, 227 etc.
Bank: An on-campus banking facility is provided by Kotak Mahindra Bank. The branch is listed as Kotak Mahindra, RVCE branch. It is fully computerized and air-conditioned. It caters to the need of 4000 students and staff. The ATM facility is a boon to the hostilities and faculty. The bank takes care of all the college transaction. It also provides EC facility for parents and students to pay fees, hostel charges, mess bill, University fees etc.
Post Office: The campus has a branch post office, with the postal identification as R.V. Vidyaniketan P.O. The post office with an area of around 20 sqm, has the capacity to cater to a large number of inward and outward emails on a daily basis. Post Office also offers small savings schemes.
Health Centre: The campus has an exclusive health Center that is open to all the students and staff from 9 am to 7 pm. An Ambulance is stationed at the Health centre to meet any emergencies.
Reprographic Services: Reprographic facilities are provided on campus, located next to the Food Court. The facility caters to the documentation needs of the students and adds to their convenience.
Internet Facilities: RVCE has a 50 Mbps Lease Line on Fibre. 25 Mbps RF Line and 10 Mbps (Copper) BSNL bandwidth connectivity. The browsing centre has 100 nodes and is open 9:00 am to 12:00 midnight for access to students. RVCE is a Wi-Fi enabled campus.
