Gujarat Technological University [GTU] was set up in 2007 by the government of Gujarat via Gujarat Act No. 20 of 2007. The University has its affiliated colleges all over the state of Gujarat. GTU is ranked #70 among top pharmacy universities in India by NIRF 2024.

The university is state-established and dispatches education in a wide range of disciplines. It aims to become a world-class University. It provides quality education, training, vocation, and research facilities to the students. GTU has about 17,000+ faculty members to help guide the students in their respective academic journeys.

GTU is a premier academic and research institution and is an intellectual destination for students to pursue their passions. The University has about 2,25,000 students enrolled in a large number of Diploma, Undergraduate, and postgraduate programs along with the robust Doctoral program. GTU Admission

Gujarat Technological University [GTU], Ahmedabad admission 2024 is in process. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply online through the official website of the institute via its admission portal. Candidates need to fill in the application forms along with the required documents and application fees. The college considers various entrance exams like JEE Main, GUJCET, GPAT, GATE, PGCET, CMAT, GSET, and NET.

GTU Eligibility Criteria 

GTU has set different criteria for admission to different courses. The students need to meet that criterion to get university admission. The basic criteria for some courses are as follows

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed class 12 from any recognized board.
• Aspirants must have an aggregate of a minimum of 50% aggregate with Physics and mathematics as the main subjects.
• A candidate should have a valid JEE Mains or GUJCET score.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria 

• The candidate must have a B.Tech degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
• Candidates must have a valid GATE or PG-CET score.

Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have a master's degree in a relevant subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
• The candidates must have a valid UGC-NET, and GSET score.

GTU Cut Off

GTU Cut-Off 2022-23 will be released soon. It offers various programs like B.Tech, M.Tech, B.B.A, M.B.A, M.C.A, and other diploma courses in different specializations. The students who are seeking admission to the institute are required to meet the cut-off criteria of the institute and also need to secure valid marks in the accepted exams like JEE Mains, GUJCET, GPAT, GATE, PGCET, CMAT, GSET, and NET.

GTU Result

GTU result 2021-22 has been declared. It can be checked on the official website of the college. Results for many courses are declared and for some courses, they will soon be declared. Candidates need a minimum pass mark of 35% in the end-term examination to be promoted to the next semester. Students can check their results by following these few simple steps

• From the home page select the exam tab given on the page.
• Select results from the list opened.
• To check the result, fill in the exam name, seat number, and enrolment number in the box opened.

GTU Placements

GTU placements 2021-22 are in process. The University caters to the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Management, Pharmacy, and Computer Science in placements. Its placement facilities include an Integrated Training and Placement Cell [ITAP] which takes care of all the activities related to placements.  The median package offered was INR 3.69 LPA for UG and INR 4.16 LPA for PG in 2021.
