Sardar Patel College of Engineering was established by Kulapati Dr. K.M.Munshi and was inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in the year 1962. Sardar Patel College of Engineering is an autonomous engineering college located in Mumbai, the college is dedicated to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and is one of the top 5 engineering colleges in the Maharastra state and has been providing high-quality education for years. The college offers UG, PG, and Doctoral courses in different specializations Admission for the course is based on entrance exams such as  MHTCET and JEE Main.

Sardar Patel College of Engineering runs under the management of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, The college is affiliated with the University of Mumbai and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), University Grants Commission (UGC). With an enrolment of over 1,000 students and around 50 registered faculty members, the college offers 11 various undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral engineering programs in core engineering streams like Civil, Electrical, and Mechanical.
