CMR University admission for B.Tech courses is available for various specializations. The course duration for B.Tech is 4 years. The university also offers B.Tech Hons admission in the course. 

B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are eligible for the course if they have completed 10+2 examinations with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for ST/ SC/ OBC/ PH). Physics and Mathematics must be compulsory subjects along with other following subjects- Chemistry/ Biotechnology or Biology.

B.Tech Selection Process

The candidates are selected according to their scores in one of the entrance exams - CET, JEE Main, COMED-K, or CMRUAT (conducted by the CMR University).

CMR University admission for B.Arch course which is a 5 years program. Admission is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examinations. 

B.Arch Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are eligible for the course if they have completed their 10+2 examinations with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for ST/SC/OBC/PH) and had Mathematics as a compulsory subject. 40% marks in NATA are mandatory for application. 

B.Arch Selection Process

CMR University offers admission for the B.Des course and admission is based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examinations. 

B.Des Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are eligible for the course if they have completed the qualifying examination 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any streams (Science, Commerce and Arts/ Humanities) Mathematics as a subject will be desirable, from any State boards or CBSE/ ICSE/ NIOS/ IB, with a minimum aggregate score of 50% for all subjects. Or have passed the Diploma (10+3 pattern) of any stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks from Technical Board of Karnataka or any other state or from a college/ university established under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956 will be eligible to apply for the program.

B.Des Selection Process

The admission is based on the scores obtained in the NATA, NID, NIFT, or UCEED examinations.

CMR University offers admission for BCA courses for different specializations.

BCA Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the course is the completion of the 2nd PUC/ HSC/ 12th Grade or Equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ Institution.

CMR University offers admission for LLB courses along with three integrated courses BA LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), and BCom LLB (Hons). The integrated courses are of 5 years duration whereas, LLB course is for 3 years. 

LLB Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the integrated courses is the completion of in 2nd PUC/ HSC/ 12th Grade or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ ST, 42% in case of OBC) from a recognized Board/Institution. 

For LLB, the eligibility criteria are the completion of a degree program (10+2+3/ 4/ 5 pattern) with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ ST, 42% in case of OBC) in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent examination recognized by University.

LLB Selection Process

The selection process is done according to the academic merits of the candidates as well as scores in CLAT/LSAT/CMRUAT.

CMR University M.Tech Admission 2024

CMR University offers admission for a 2-years M.Tech course for various specializations.

M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the courses is the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (B.E or B.Tech) or equivalent in the relevant field and obtaining at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

The candidates who have passed the bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from any recognized university or Institution in India or abroad. For the Psychometrics and Psycho-Social rehabilitation course, the candidates must have passed any degree examination from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks is eligible for admission to the program (45% in case of SC/ST/PH students) with Psychology as one of the optional courses.

CMR University offers PhD programs for several specializations. 

PhD Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have a Master’s degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale to be eligible for PhD courses.

1. Visit the official website of CMR University, Bangalore, and register yourself.
2. Applicants must register using a valid e-mail id and phone number.
3. Information about the application and login id and password will be sent by the university to the registered mail id.
4. After registration, the applicant can fill up the application form for CMRUAT 2020.
5. After submission of the form, the applicant must pay an application fee through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net banking or offline.
