NMIT Admission Process 2024

Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology admits students to undergraduate (BE), diploma, postgraduate (M.Tech, MBA, MCA), and doctorate (PhD) programmes. Admissions to BE programmes are made through the Karnataka Government's KCET tests, which are followed by a counselling procedure, whereas admissions to postgraduate studies are made through entrance tests (PGCET/CMAT/KMAT/GATE). B.E Programs:

• Applicants must take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (K CET) administered by the Government of Karnataka and obtain a valid score, or they must attempt the COMED-K administered by the Consortium of Private Colleges in Karnataka.
• Eligible applicants must apply online at the NMIT's official website and submit the application form together with the required documentation.
• Admission will be granted based on KCET/COMEDK results, participation in counselling, document verification, and payment of fees.

M.Tech Programs:

• Applicants must take the PGCET administered by the Government of Karnataka or the GATE (for management quota applicants) and obtain a valid score.

• Applicants must be eligible with a senior high school transfer certificate and must apply online at the institute's official website, by submitting the application form along with the required documentation.

PhD Program:

• Applicants must apply online at Visveswaraiah Technological University's official website and fill out the application form along with the required documents.
• Aspirants must take the Visveswaraiah Technological University Eligibility Test (VTU-ETR).
• Shortlisted applicants are required to undergo an interview/presentation process administered by the institute.
