Standing at the precipice of being a premier institution, CMR University seems to be struggling to hold the position. Good infrastructure, top companies, regular training sessions, good placement rates cannot cover one aspect that the students require the most, the salary packages and an energetic campus environment.

While reasons to choose CMR University vary vastly from student to student, one of the key reasons seems to be the exposure they get through various training sessions and academic events. This is an undeniable fact that above all a good exposure to practical events shapes the pupils’ mind and personality the most.

CMR University does not boast a course curriculum that tops every other private university. It is at par with the industry standards and effective. Currently it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral. Here’s a look at the various fields that they offer to the students.

CMR University also has strict rules and regulations that the students should follow. There is also a dress code for boys and girls which they must adhere to. Apart from that there is a uniform allotted by the university to be worn. However, occasionally they can wear informal or casual attire.

Imbalance in Placement Rate and Salary Offered

CMR University is renowned for its high placement rates. Almost 90% of students have a job in hand before their graduation. As essential as it is for a student to get placed, the salary package offered makes an equally compelling case. Going through the records, the university falls back to negotiate a good salary being offered by the top recruiters. 

Given the program fees, it is impertinent that the students get to negotiate a higher bracket of salary. Moreover, the college does not provide any support for internship opportunities to the students.

Absence of College Fest

In a student’s life on campus, college fests pump up the enthusiasm and bring in a fresh dose of excitement. It is the single most important event where the students interact with their fellows from other colleges. Unfortunately, this exciting scenario has never been witnessed by the CMR University students. The college does not host any campus festival by the students. Thereby, the pupils miss out on organizing just enjoyable activities that also helps in developing key leadership skills. 

In lieu of the college fest, students are encouraged to participate in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) and National Service Scheme (NSS). By participating in these, students can enjoy adventure sports and other team building and leadership activities.
