Each year, CMR University awards a number of scholarships to remarkable and commendable students from across the University. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit in academics or excellent performance in sports. The different scholarships offered by CMR University are given below.

CMR Students Scholarships
Students who are joining from CMR Institution to CMR University i.e. from CMR PU/ +2 to UG programs and CMR UG to PG programs.

Social Service
Candidates with NCC- A and B certificate gets a 10% waiver on their tuition fee.
Defence Scholarships and Bravery Award
Wards of the people fulfilling the following criteria are eligible for this scholarship scheme.

This fees concession is applicable for the students whose Brother or Sister is studying at the CMR University or CMRGO.

Single Parent
Children of a single parent (Mother only) who scored a minimum of 75% marks at qualifying examination are eligible. The annual income of the mother shall be less than INR 6 lacs per annum. The scholarship amount is INR 25,000 and the student needs to submit a death certificate/ divorce copy, address proof, and 12th mark sheet. Submission of an income certificate is mandatory.
Seven Sisters
Students from North East- Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Tripura are eligible for admission into any of CMRU & CMRIT with a scholarship of INR 10,000. The students need to submit their 12th mark sheet and address proof.
Andaman & Nicobar
Students from Andaman and Nicobar islands are eligible to get INR 10,000 as a scholarship. They need to submit their 12th mark sheet and address proof.
Jammu & Kashmir
Students from Jammu & Kashmir are eligible to get INR 10,000 as a scholarship. They need to submit their 12th mark sheet and address proof.
Physically Challenged
The student is to produce a proper document of claim which the committee headed by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor or Registrar as members in the committee examine and declare the concession.

Note
- The above scholarships are applicable for students who are taking admissions in full management fee only (Not applicable for CET Management, PGCET Management & COMEDK Management fee structure).
- The above fee waivers for all categories of students are applicable only to the first year, i.e. year of admission.
- Students are allowed to avail any one of the scholarships for the academic year 2022- 2023.
