Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) students can apply for the PSEB duplicate certificate through the official website, pseb.ac.in. Those students who lost their passing/migration certificate can obtain a second copy by filling out the online application form.
The detailed marks certificate for PSEB can now be obtained in the 'Tatkaal' process too, which means students can acquire their marksheet copies in an hour. PSEB will levy a charge of INR 2000 for the issuance of the PSEB duplicate marks certificates.
Earlier, the Punjab School Education Board issued duplicate certificates within a week; however, with the provision for the 'Tatkaal' scheme, students can request the PSEB duplicate certificates offline at the PSEB Mohali office.
If a candidate applied for the certificate at the deport before 3 PM, then the certificates will be dispatched on the same day through trackable courier services. The previous 11-step process of issuing duplicate certificates has been terminated.

Steps to Apply for PSEB Duplicate Certificate
The PSEB duplicate certificate application process is simple. Students can conveniently apply for a second copy of the PSEB certificate by following the step-wise process provided below:
- Step 1: Visit the official website of the PSEB Board: pseb.ac.in.
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘duplicate section’ link under the important links.
- Step 3: A new page will open once students click on the ‘duplicate section’.
- Step 4: Click on the ‘Online Application Form for Second Copy/Board Migration /Transcript Certificate’ link.
- Step 5: You will now be redirected to a new page wherein they must enter their login details (reference no. and roll no.)
- Step 6: After logging in, fill out the PSEB duplicate certificate application form. Furnish all the valid details while filling out the form.
- Step 7: Submit the application form and pay a fee of INR 800 to get a second copy of the certificate.
Note: Students can check the status of the PSEB duplicate certificate by clicking on the ‘duplicate certificate form status’ option in the duplicate section. The board might take around 25-30 days to issue the PSEB duplicate certificate.

PSEB Board 2026 Admit Card
