IISER Merit List 2024
The merit list of qualifying candidates will be released separately for the JEE Advanced, KVPY, and IISER Aptitude Tests. The merit list will be based on the candidate's scores and category. Fifty per cent of seats on the IISER Merit List 2024 will be through KVPY and JEE Advanced 2018. The IISER 2024 Aptitude Test will fill the other fifty per cent of seats.
Admission through KVPY and JEE Advanced Channel
Important points related to admission to Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) through KVPY and the JEE Advanced Channel have been listed below:
- A separate merit list will be released for candidates applying for admission to IISER through KVPY and JEE Advanced channels.
- The merit list will be based on the marks secured by the candidates in KVPY (marks in 10+2 and KVPY fellowship) and JEE Advanced 2024.
- Fifty percent of the seats at IISERs are reserved for candidates applying through KVPY or JEE Advanced 2024.
Admission through IAT Channel
Important points related to admission to Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs) through the IAT Channel have been listed below:
- A separate merit list will be prepared for candidates that qualify the IISER Aptitude Test.
- IAT 2024 was conducted on 17 June 2024.
- The test consisted of a total of 60 questions.
- Each subject (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics) had 15 questions.
- Fifty percent of the seats at IISERs are reserved for candidates applying through the IISER 2024 aptitude test.
IISER Cutoff 2024
The cutoff list will be based on the minimum marks a candidate must bring to get admission to IISER 2024. The cutoff list will be released separately for each channel of admission.
