Placements and Internships
Welingkar will give you full support in case of internships and placements, they will work hard for you to get placed whether an internship or final placements. They also have some international internship programs in Kenya, Malaysia, China, Singapore, etc.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
Welingkar has a state of the art infrastructure for students, you will be impressed by the arrangements they have made for each activity from the library, to the auditorium and from conference halls to classrooms.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
They will accept management entrance exam scores like CAT, MBA-CET, CMAT, MAT while filling their application form. If you get shortlisted then you will need to give an online psychometric test. After that they will invite you to the campus for Group Activity and Interview, the whole process will take hardly 3 hours because they manage it pretty well also providing lunch to everyone. Within 30 days you will get an offer letter if you got in or not, if not you will be also be informed about what is your waiting number on the waiting list.
Academics and Faculty
One of the best colleges for PGDM in terms of industry exposure and academics. The faculties are best in class faculties and industry experts and the availability of relevant study materials.
Fees and Scholarships
Apply for a hostel immediately as they have a limited number of rooms in a hostel if you didn't get a room you will have to look for rented apartments which will increase your expense considering the rent amount around the Matunga area. They have a scholarship program, for the students who are toppers in the whole batch.
Clubs and Associations
There won't be many clubs to participate in except the Impact for cricket, startup and innovation club. But you can be a member of the placement, management, alumni committee.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : When I took admission mht cet, cmat, cat were the entrance test for admission. Admission procedure consists of gd pi rounds. I took cet for entrance. Normally the cut off is around 88 percentile.

Academics & Faculty : The Prin L N Welingkar Institute of Management Development & Research provides an extremely well-planned curriculum which is regularly updated and adjusted to the need of the current industry trends. It not only provides us with excellent theoretical knowledge but also focuses on practical learning through various activities, competitions, etc. The quality of teaching is very good at this college. Overall experience is quite good at this college.
