Placements and Internships
The university is invloved with the companies like (IT, Manufacturing, Finance, Marketing , Sales) which will provide internships to the students and hire them from the campus. Which means students can get a secured job here from the university. I remember one of my friend from other course (Btech cse) got hired with a package of 12.5 lakhs per year.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
There are around 5 girls hostel and 6-7 boys hostel with four seater and two seater rooms which are well furnished. As, i am a hosteller too, so i can tell all the details of the hostel. The hostel fee is around 84,000rs. The mess food they provide is way better then other colleges i have gone through. Other than hostels PGs are also available outside and near the university with affordable rent. The quality of classrooms is quite good with projectors in every lecture hall , practical labs , libraries in every block and a central library. Students are also provided with the Wi-Fi facility in campus and the hostels.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
I m a student of chandigarh university. My course is Bsc medical, and I'm in the 5th semester. And to get admitted in the university the student should have more than 60% marks in their previous class. I personally haven’t took any entrance exams. The cutoff of my course is atleast 6 cgpa.
Academics and Faculty
The schedule of the university is 9:30 am to 4:45pm. There are two semesters in one year. And in one semester students need to submit 3 assignments of each subject and project work too. And they have to give two monthly semester exams in one semester and after that final exmas of the semester. This is followed for every semester of the course. The way of teachers to teach the students is quite good and the teachers are really helpful. Overall, in my opinion , this university is good in every way.
Fees and Scholarships

The scholarship options are also available to the students . Likewise , students from army background got 2 -3 % concession in their fees. Students are also provided with loan for study if needed and they get it very easily.
Clubs and Associations
Dsw, the main society or should i say help centre for the students of university. Students can seek any kind of help out there. There are other clubs too like quiz socitiey, m- field etc. Dsw organizes all the events of the university. Some of the main fests of university are Cu fest, tech fest, youth fest etc. The college life is awesome here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : No eligibility is required. The only criterium is that you have to get passing marks. And you are eligible for the exam.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : In the case of B.Tech/ B.Arch program, admission is done on the basis of JEE Main Paper I /JEE Main Paper II or NATA score, respectively. Similarly, for ME/ M.Arch, candidates must have a recent valid score of GATE. For MBA program, a candidate must have a valid score of either one of the following: CAT/ MAT / GMAT. For Ph.D. courses, CU-Ph.D. Entrance Test is conducted by the university although CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ GATE/ GPAT or SLET qualified candidates can also apply for admission. Upon shortlisting on the basis of submitted scores, they will have to go through Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. These rounds will decide the final selection of the candidate. For my course BSC MEDICAL and other undergraduate programs, completion of 10+2 level of education is a must with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
