well, students go for internships in their 3rd year. I am in my 2nd year so I haven't gone for one but these 2nd-year students go for industrial training in their summer holidays. many of our seniors got internships at companies like Royal Enfield, tafe, Hyundai. these are the core companies, and some were placed in I.T. companies like Microsoft and Google. and the placement record was 95% for the mechanical department. the alumni network is also very good and we are given a chance every semester to interact with our seniors to clear our doubts.
Hostels are built inside the campus and for boys, there are 3 buildings which further comprises of towers, and similarly for girls there 2 buildings with towers. students can also live as day scholars in flats and pgs which are 10 minutes away from the university. the hostel fee is 80000 for one year. which includes mess, gyms, and common rooms. the hostel food is also quite adequate. the campus is fully wifi enabled and in hostels, you have LAN cables and in libraries, you also have internet access.
To take admission in Chandigarh University, the criteria is quite simple and easy. the eligibility criteria is that one should have 55% above in their 12th board examination. If they have qualified to jee main and cuset which gives them additional benefits of availing a scholarship up to 100%.
I did not take any entrance exams but there is an entrance exam CUCET which helps students to avail scholarships.
the daily routine is quite busy and full of enjoyment if you are living in a hostel in the morning you can go to the gym or sports complex meditation sessions are also there and after that, you can go to classes at 9:30 after having breakfast. classes are till 4:30 pm. students are taught about their core subjects along with labs and workshops. students can work on their projects in free lectures or after their class is over and they can also work in workshops at night by getting permission from the authority. the way of teaching is through ppts and by taking help from video aids.
Chandigarh University, [CU] Chandigarh Fee Structure. The tuition fee for our department i.e. mechanical engineering is 1 lakh 50 thousand. students can also avail up to 100% scholarship by getting goods marks in jee main and CUCET which is an entrance exam of the university. students can also apply for a loan.
There are many clubs inside each department which arrange many events and fests and students can work as an organizing member to hold the events which help in developing management skills. some of the main fests of the university are cufest in which students from all over India take part and then is the Punjab youth fest. Tashan nights and many movie promotional events are also organized inside the university.

Clubs & Associations : Popular clubs are CAD club, thermal club, and production club. The main events are workshops, technical events-tech invent, and guest lectures. In general, University life is good.
