4 weeks internships are there by the end of 2nd and 3rd year. and 6 months internship is there in the final year and its mostly paid internship. You get a stipend from companies.
Both IT and core companies come for the recruitment of Mechanical Students. IT giants like Microsoft, Google, TCS, Wipro, etc, and core companies like Godrej, Indigo, Reliance Energy, Atlas, Eveready, Hoda, Hyundai, Royal Enfield, etc are regular recruiters.
The average package is around 6 LPA and the highest package offered was around 21 LPA.
There are 16 to 17 multi storey hostels. Separate hostels are there for boys and girls.
Hostel fee is around INR 72000 per year including mess fee.
The food is good.
The library has a LAN service where online content can be explored. All books are available in the library.
Candidate must appear in JEE Mains or can take admission by appearing in CUCET.
55% marks are required in +2 or equivalent exams.
The class timings are from 9:30 am to 4:20 pm. And its 5 days a week.

Every department has its own clubs and societies. Mechanical Has a membership of ASME and many MRE. Within our department, there are CAD Club, Kelvin Club, Sports Club, etc.
CU Fest, Tech Invent, Youth Fest, Tashan Nites, Live Concerts, etc are common celebrations here.
College life is very happening. I enjoyed it a lot.

Clubs & Associations : Popular clubs are CAD club, thermal club, and production club. The main events are workshops, technical events-tech invent, and guest lectures. In general, University life is good.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : One must have a minimum of 55% marks in the 12th or equivalent exam. You need to appear in JEE mains or CUCET for taking admission to Engineering courses.
