I haven't done any internship till now and companies hire from every stream. The average salary is 10 lakhs and the highest package this year was 22 lakhs. The alumni of Christ is not so great. There is hardly one person who is extremely well known or has contributed substantially to society.
Infrastructure is really good. There are like 4 hostels, but people prefer staying outside in PG's and flats because they are more economical. Food is available in canteens in the college. There are no messes, Canteen food is nominally priced and they have all kinds of food.
For my course, I needed to attend an entrance exam, an interview, write an essay. The minimum criteria to be eligible for this was 60% in the 12th board.
Class timings are the worst thing over here. We have classes from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Projects and assignments are given on daily basis. Quality of teaching depends on the professor.
The fees for my course is INR 90,000 per annum. There are scholarships available but I don't know how accessible they are to all students. Some students can easily get in on sports merit. Not much of the students I know get a merit. Loans are available.
The fests are amazing and extremely fun filled. Everyone can participate in every cultural fest that happens, But when it comes to academic-oriented fests, there are a lot of politics involved.
