Placements and Internships

I have done Internship at Stigasoft Pvt Ltd Gurgaon as a data analyst without any stipend. In my University placements are done yearly and my University is on top in getting companies for placements. For CSE branch average salary is 5 Lakhs per annum.

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

There are 7 hostels available for the students.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

For getting into the university we had to give an online entrance test VITEE. I gave my test in May 2014. I got 3000 rank out of 1 lakh applicants and got CSE in the first slot. Admissions were done on the rank basis.

Academics and Faculty

As we have FFCS system in VIT University. So our class timings are from 8 am to 7 pm from Monday to Friday.

Fees and Scholarships

The course fee is INR 1.65 Lakhs per annum. There is no fixed number of students getting a scholarship. The loans are easily available with a certain amount of interest rate and you can get loans from most of the known banks such as PNB, HDFC, Indian Bank etc.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is passing 12th with good marks atleast around 85%. Apply for VITEEE (which is entrance exam to get into college) and give the exam. It has maths, physics, chemistry, english and logical questions. Try to get good rank in the exam. The cutoff for cse is very high. But you can get a seat even with rank around 25k with 5th category.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : There are no eligibility criteria but you have to write an exam named VITEEE where your marks scored in the exam and the admission will be done as per the rank from 1 to 100000.
