Placements and Internships

4

Placements are always cool. Nearly 85-90% of people get placed every year genuinely. Companies like TCS, CTS, Accenture, Wipro are all coming to hire students. Many of the students are hired based on their knowledge from 44LPA to 3.6 LPA

College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities

5

The infrastructure is so vast here. There are many A/C and Non - A/C hostels for both boys and girls and the fee is for per sem and not for per month and its 1.5L including mess. There are many rooms and PG hostels available outside the college and you can make use of it too!. The mess meal will be as good as it is from the top hotels in Vellore. The infrastructure of the classroom, labs, libraries are so modern and better than any other colleges

Entrance Exams and Admissions

There are no eligibility criteria but you have to write an exam named VITEEE where your marks scored in the exam and the admission will be done as per the rank from 1 to 100000.

Academics and Faculty

4.5

The class timings are irrelatable since you itself can arrange your time table and faculties for your particular semester of the course. Generally the college is from 8.00 - 19.00. The teaching is so cool here from most of the teachers and some of the faculties are bad too!. The overall experience will be good for you.

Fees and Scholarships

3

VIT University, [VIT] Vellore fee structure: My course fee is about INR 19500 per annum. and I am in the first category. There are many scholarships available in the college and the students will be notified whenever the scholarships are announced. Nearly 20k students will be getting their scholarship if they have genuine proof. The University will arrange for the loan if you request them for any genuine reason.

Clubs and Associations

4

There are many clubs like dancing, photography, music, trekking, comedy, film, painting, quiz etc. You can make use of all clubs and you can improve your skills too. There are many fests like Gravitas, Riviera which will be done once a year and every will be allowed with certain fee and celebrities too will make the fest beautiful. The college life is so simple and you can enjoy it as much as you can but you have to maintain the studies parallelly.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria is passing 12th with good marks atleast around 85%. Apply for VITEEE (which is entrance exam to get into college) and give the exam. It has maths, physics, chemistry, english and logical questions. Try to get good rank in the exam. The cutoff for cse is very high. But you can get a seat even with rank around 25k with 5th category.
