Rs. 150000/- was the course fee per year at VIT University, [VIT] Vellore. I spent 3L on my course and there were no additional fees or exam fees or book fees or lab fees or anything. It was only the term fees that I paid at the start of the academic year.

I completed my ug course at VIT University Vellore. Later, I continued my PG course in VIT. The eligibility criteria were to complete my UG course in the same steam to join the PG course. As I completed BCA, it was easy for me to pursue MCA.
The admission process started with applying on application. Then I was scheduled with an entrance exam at the university. Then I attended my entrance exam. This exam was a little difficult but similar to CAT, MAT, XAT exams. There were aptitude questions, English grammar questions, Computer technical questions, and mathematical questions. The exam timing was 3hrs, and it was an online exam.
Later, the result was published in rank order. Only students who got in the top 1000 rank were eligible for the counselling section. I was called for counselling in university. I don't know about the cutoff's, but the result was based on rank order. There were nearly 200 seats available in VIT, Vellore.
Rs. 77,000 is the course fee per year at VIT University, [VIT] Vellore.
Good job in IT company through this course.
There are multiple clubs and societies for every student on campus. They bring out the best version of you based on the talent you incur.
Rivera is not only VIT's but one of India's top college festivals. Invictus is another management fest which is hosted by the management students. I find pride in saying I was part of the organizing committee for Invictus'2018.
The academic curriculum is based on FFCS, which is flexible and allows the student to choose courses according to their interests in majors and specialization. The faculty and staff are well experienced and follow a systematic approach to transfer the knowledge to make their students great leaders in future.
My overall experience has been amazing and I was fortunate enough to be elected as Program representative in the first year and showcase and upgrade my leadership skills.
The eligibility criteria for admission for MBA is a qualifying percentile in the common qualifying entrance exams for MBA such as CAT, XAT, MAT and more. I took the MAT entrance exam for getting admission in VIT, Vellore for the MBA program.
There are many Clubs in the campus.
Tech was the main festival while I was student I was part of Robotics but was not recognized.
Life is beautiful as my friends from different universities & colleges were in touch to get admission.

The college life is fun with lots of scope for cultural activities. All sorts of extracurriculars are practiced by the students and the management is supportive towards those who bring accolades.
There are several academic clubs as well, but seeing as how girls are not allowed to work late nights in the college buildings that throws a constraint.
The main festival Riviera is a fun-filled extravaganza and guests are invited (often popular celebrities). The food becomes even better.
There are 6 women's hostels numbered from A-F. They are within the main campus and separated from the men's hostels by guards and a railway track. The men's hostels were numbered till P, last I knew. There are PGs available outside.
The hostel fee varies as per type of room allotted which is in turn determined by merit order and choice.
I had taken a single non-AC room in my final semester which cost about Rs 85,000 per year. AC rooms are highly advisable in the Vellore summers. I had a 4-bedded AC room for my 1st two semesters, costing about Rs 82,000 annually.
The food is excellent- great quality and choice of cuisines available. It is also nutritionally balanced with salads on offer and of course hygienic.
Quality of classrooms can be better. Vellore is too hot for non-AC classrooms. Labs are pretty good, especially for those professors with funding. Dining halls are good. The wifi while fast enough, has limited data allotted per student.
The best part is the flexibility offered in planning the daily routine. One can pick slots for classes based on availability and plan one's project work timings around the schedule. Saturdays were non-working allowing us time to do our lab projects. The assessment system was based on a term-end exam and 2-3 Continous evaluation tests. Credits were given for the research project.
The teaching qualityy was good with the teachers well-versed in their fields. As students were attached to the labs of professors specialising in different research interests, one could get exposure to many avenues.
The college offered good chances to learn how to make presentations and improve communication skills and writing skills.
The course fee is INR 80,000 to INR 1,00,000 per year. I was not aware of any scholarship options offered in my course. Loans could be availed. VIT had a tie-up of sorts with Indian Bank and City Union Bank, though others will offer too.
The admission procedure consisted of counselling based on the merit order of graduation marks. There was no entrance examination. I was not aware of any cutoffs due to the variety of academic backgrounds who ended up in the course.
There are many clubs and chapters. So many that I can't remember all of them. Main festivals on campus are Diwali and Pongal celebration. The Gravitas and Rivera are the cultural events of our college. General life in our college is filled with work and enjoyment.
I am not a hosteller but there is quite a huge number of hostels with good infrastructure. The food provided in hostels is also quite good as heard from my hostel friends.
Our college has FFCS system so the course selection, the faculty and timing is all decided by students. We can select morning slots or afternoon slots for theory and labs. Assignments are digital and submitted online. Overall experience in college is awesome and my whole college life is filled with happiness. We get more exposure.
Based on our twelfth grade marks the fees is determined. My fees is around INR 1.5 lakhs per annum. There are lots of scholarship options available to students who perform well in their academics. Loans are not needed but still many banks offer educational loans easily to students who perform well in their studies.
I am yet to do my internship. Many IT companies hire from my campus. Some of the dream companies like Amazon, eBay, Microsoft also hire from our campus. Our course has a decent percentage of placement into INR 10 lakh or more than INR 10 lakh per annum salary package.
The eligibility criteria for my course is to complete 12th board exams and the admission procedure was based on the percentage of marks obtained in my board exams. There were no entrance exams for this course.
There are more than 100 clubs in our campus. The main festivals on campus are Gravitas (tech event) and Riviera (cultural event). The college life is really good, exciting each and every day. We get a chance to meet new people each and every day. In general, it's so diversified.
I'm a day scholar so I don't know about the hostel procedure and pgs around the college. The classrooms are well built with full ventilation. Library is the best part of my university. WiFi is good and speed also. Shuttle cab plays the best role in helping students get to the place they needed inside the campus.
Class timings are flexible. Projects are evaluated in a good way and faculty are very helpful when it comes to projects. The quality and method of teaching is so good. The overall experience is really well and good.
The fee structure is INR 2 lakhs per annum. It's based on their marks they scored and also based on their background and family situations. I don't know the average numbers. Yes, I guess if they need it. But I don't really know the procedure of how the loan is availed.
I haven't done any internship yet. There are lots of big higher standard companies that come to our campus for hiring. The salary depends upon the talents of the individual candidate. The alumni network is really good.
The eligibility criteria is based on marks we scored in our 12th grade. There is no entrance examination for my course. The cutoffs are usually above 75% in our 12th grade.
There are 13 hostels for men. In the first year you get your rooms depending on your wish but from 2nd year you will go to counselling for hostel rooms according to your CGPA.
Hostels of VIT have 2.4G Wi-Fi.
There are many options to learn but you should utilize it.
Many faculties are friendly.
You can choose your class timings on your own (but they will provide some list and you can select your class timings and faculties for either morning or evening slots).
Student Fees depends upon the rank in VITEEE. The Course Fee for B.Tech (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) at VIT University is INR 173,000 per annum. In this STARS scholarship, you will get a 100% scholarship and you not need to pay a single penny to the VIT.
VIT has good placements and internships records but it is not totally depended on VIT. You will get what you deserve.
Highest package in 2018 is 31 LPA (Microsoft) and the average salary is 3.5 LPA. Many got placed in BOA, LEOLIE, KPIT, L&T also.
You need to get into first 100000 ranks in VITEEE(entrance exam conducted by VIT) and depends on your rank and choice of course. There will be some groups like group 1,2,3 etc. Your fee will be decided by those groups.
