Placements and Internships
Looking to get one in the summer term( June -July ). Many people here get them. IT sector, finance, management and noncore streams too. Also, people knowing coding are open to many more companies at the time of placement. There's a student alumni interaction cell and which helps us connect to the alumni network.
College Infrastructure and Hostel Facilities
2 hostels for freshers. No choice for PG. Mess food is good, there are canteens and cafeterias which are open through the night. Do not expect IIT grade infrastructure.
Entrance Exams and Admissions
Qualify JEE MAIN and get a decent rank in JEE ADVANCED and you will make it to IIT BHU. Metallurgical engineering closes around 7000 all India rank.
Academics and Faculty
Classes start from 8 am and is ends at 5 pm. There are random breaks in between too, even 1-2 hour long, so it's nice. Teachers are very experienced and well qualified.
Fees and Scholarships
INR 2,20,000 per year for general candidates and having family income greater than INR 5,00,000 per annum. A plethora of scholarship opportunities, both academic and non-academic. There are banks inside the campus(1400 acres) for loans.
Clubs and Associations
Name a club and you have it here. Three big college fests, sports, technology and cultural fests. Life is very chill here once you know how things run here.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission procedure is same as the procedure to get admitted in an IIT. Students need to appear for JEE(Mains) and further appear for IIT-JEE(Advanced) to get admitted in the college. The ranks obtained in JEE (MAINS) by the students are used for getting admitted NITs, IIITs and GFTIs while the rank of JEE(Advanced) are used for IITs admission.
