Placements and Internships

5

In a very less time, Chandigarh University has made remarkable progress in getting students placed in the topmost MNC around the globe. The student will get many opportunities for international exchange programs as it has 306+ partnerships with the best international universities. Chandigarh University has tied up with top-ranking universities from 33 Nations which includes the USA (14), Europe (26), Canada (12), Australia (10), Russia (08), UK (06), and others. The highest package for engineering is INR 36 LPA, and on average, batches are made as per student academic performance in 4 years, and accordingly, opportunities are given.

Entrance Exams and Admissions

Chandigarh University conducts its entrance exam by the name CUCET in two phases, one for summer session intake and another for winter session intake.

Academics and Faculty

5

My personal experience class timing is 9:30 am to 4:30 pm for all academic and non-academic staff and students. If students need to avail the library for their exams, completing assignments and projects for a comfortable late evening is also available, along with regular working hours.

The teaching methodology adopted by most faculty members is incorporated after regular upgradation of the latest trends. Therefore, summarizing the overall experience is one of the best places to work and study as it has world-class available resources and international collaboration to explore the individual potential.

Fees and Scholarships

5

For meritorious and well-deserved students, various scholarships options are available, first, like the old student fee concession policy to promote further and higher education, including a 10% yearly fee concession for your entire duration of the selected course. Secondly, 50% fee concession to the students having an appreciable academic record before taking admission for the desired course and if the student maintains to show his laurel during his entire duration, the same benefit can be available throughout the course.

In every academic session, 50%-60% of students avail all these scholarships fruitfully, and further loan facilities are also there as per the guidelines of banks in which students need to maintain appreciable CGPA throughout the course.

Clubs and Associations

5

Every department has its internal clubs, which are further divided into extra and co-curricular activities. The department of student welfare is a centralized hub for conducting national and international cultural fest, technical fest, national level sports events. Further international affairs department takes care of conducting conferences and webinars around the globe. So main focus is not just related to academics but the overall development of the student by providing the best platform to explore his talent.
