OTET syllabus 2023 has been released by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSEO). OTET paper 1 syllabus contains topics based on Language-I and Language-II, Environmental Studies, and Mathematics. OTET paper 2 syllabus contains topics based on Language-I and Language-II, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, and Social Studies.

OTET Syllabus 2023 Important Instructions

  • Please remember that, according to NCTE guidelines, the questions in Paper I will be based on themes from the state's prescribed syllabus for classes I to V, but their difficulty level and links may be up to the secondary stage.
  • The questions in Paper II will be based on themes from the state's prescribed syllabus for Classes VI to VIII. Still, their difficulty level and linkages may extend to the senior secondary/higher secondary/+2 stage.
  • The guidelines established by the competent authority do not specify any particular text or author for the OTET Examination.
  • The OTET syllabus, created by the TE & SCERT, Odisha, following NCTE norms, would be relevant for the OTET-2021 (1st). The detailed OTET syllabus is also available at bseodisha.ac.in under the link "OTET Syllabus" and scertorissa.org.
